When you're screaming out But you can't make a sound You know It's only a dream
Cause nothing is as bad as you think Even when you're pulling at the seams When the lights go out you still got me
It was a night he had been dreading for weeks. Or at least on the surface. Below his calm and bored demeanor, he was absolutely terrified, and completely neurotic. This night was going to be the night he set his brother free. The plans were all set, everyone had their part to play, but first, he needed to make an appearance. He needed to welcome the guests into his home with polite smiles and warm greetings, despite the fact that he hated the vast majority of them. The manor itself was filled with so much light and music, that nearly everyone could find themselves quite happy here. The air was much less foreboding than it was at the school, which he thought was a little weird at first, but he hadn't really been back here in months. There was plenty of food and refreshments for everyone who came, which was a vast majority of the school. The cat boy bowed and shook hands, smiled and laughed. But really, it was all a facade. It wasn't long before he began to spot the ones that he trusted with this mission. He carefully made his way to each of them, placing a small seal on the back of each of their hands as he shook them and smiled and made his pleasantries. After all, his mother was watching, as were his siblings, all the staff, literally everyone here could easily report to her. "Just wait for my signal, file out one by one. You'll be able to see where to go. Feel free to explore until then, and enjoy yourselves accordingly. This is a party after all." It wasn't hard to speak to them all simultaneously. He had been working on that seal for months now. "We'll be able to talk to one another without making much of a scene about it." This was it. This would be the night. He would rescue his brother, and hopefully get everyone out in one piece. ~ ~ ~ ~ After everyone had plenty of time to mingle, and after he had danced with each of his siblings, even the few that didn't yet attend the school, he waited for his mother's speech, welcoming them all into her home and hope that they would enjoy themselves without making too much trouble. Once that was over, he excused himself to tuck his younger siblings into bed. Of course, the twins both watched him like a hawk, but neither of them really wanted to accompany him, which he had planned on, and he made his way into the secured part of the manor. It took him a bit of time to get them ready for bed and all tucked in tight, giving them each a small goodnight kiss before finally sneaking off to do his part. Taking out the cameras was easy enough, but the guards would be a little more trouble. "Alright everyone. One at a time. We'll meet in the west wing, in the library. I'm already here, waiting for you. Jut try not to gather too much attention, okay?" [googlefont=Philosopher][googlefont=Pattaya][googlefont=Lobster Two]

Tonight was the night this plan of the third year's would come into action. The blonde had been invited to the party and, knowing just how his own boyfriend was, simply gave him access to his dorm to wait for him while he went to the party. He'd text him and check up on him to reassure his boyfriend that all was well on both ends and everything else. Upon arriving to the party however, the blonde didn't really smile, due to that just being his own nature, and simply exchanged handshakes with Luka and dipped his head a little. "You are the host after all... And with that, we'll go about at what you suggest." He spoke, soon enough just departing the smaller male to go get himself lost in the crowd. This very night, he didn't don his white suit, in fact he donned something a tad darker but still rather fitting for the blonde appearance-wise. It was a party after all, and he was one to be formal about such things anyway. He kept an eye out for Luka and whomever else the boy had recruited, not that the blonde had really interacted with anyone else that the boy had spoken to about such a daunting task. He exchanged a few words to anyone who tried to speak to him, being polite of course despite his want to just walk away, and eventually excused himself to go get a drink that was offered out for the guests. His eyes scanned the crowd easily, making himself just be at ease so as to not draw unwanted attention to himself. ~~~~~~ After some time of mingling and one dance to be had with some fool, things seemed to be going accordingly. The boy's mother had given everyone a welcoming speech to which he took notice of Luka excusing himself to go tuck in his younger siblings. He waited several minutes before he let himself get lost in the crowd once more, soon enough slipping out of the room once Luka gave the word to head to their meeting point. "Heading out now, I'll be there shortly." Upon finally reaching the library in the west wing, he moved over to the boy and then went over to one of the shelves to take a look at the books there with his back to the door. He was silent for the most part as he pulled a book off the shelf and opened it to lightly skim the contents of it. Hm, maybe he'd have to get Luka to let him borrow it once all of this was over... 精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | Tonight was the night, with mother moon looking over them in all her glory. Tonight came far too quickly for the girl’s own comforts. A sinking feeling deep within the pits of her stomach decided to make its home there. Making her feel antsy for the day, to which she had no idea of the reasoning behind the lingering shadow of foreboding lingering in step with hers. The girl in question breathed another deep sigh as her blue orbs averted its gaze from the mirror in which she took in front of. A hand of hers adjusting the skinned jacket that went along with the clothes she decided to wear for tonight’s festivities. It was still a party…
The girl mutely grumbled. Sending a look of longing towards her sleeping laptop posed a few feet from her bed on top of her crowded desk filled with both papers and other possessions she had procrastinated on sorting through days ago up to now. Another sigh she forced her stare back towards her reflection. Noting the side braids hiding within her messy locks giving her an appearance of someone who had her hair ruffled more than a few times that day but it still suited the style of clothing she was going to wear for the night. Considering how.. sensitive the real reason why she’s attending a social gathering when normally she’ll do her damn hardest to avoid going. It’s easier to see why she forgone adding any form of brighter colouring into her outfit. Instead she merely went with a long sleeved white dress shirt tucked underneath a sleeveless black dress vest. A few of the buttons at her neck were left undone to add into the sort of ‘rebel’ appearance she was aiming for. She tucked a lock of her hair behind her hair as she added a small bit of hair wax onto the side to keep its appearance in place.
Though now that she’s working on it. The girl mused, noting how long her hair had started to become. Absentmindedly trying to recall the last time she trimmed it. The strands normally tipped past her neckline now.. it was threatening to touch her shoulders. Thought… she argued, she normally had most of it up in a barely noticeable ponytail that made her hair look somewhat spiky. Now that she had it down…she could actually see just how much she might be needing that haircut soon. Another thing to add to her workload.
At the very least she long cross out sewing her own outfit for this gathering Luka invited her too. She honestly… would rather not go… but she already promised to hell him. Despite how both his plans and the situation he’s dragging her into glaringly reminded her of an experience she recalled back at her former junior high school. She cringed at the thought, an image momentarily flashed into her mind. Like watching a still photograph a yellowed demon whom wormed into their hearts only to be torn away in a midst of tragedy. Tragedy, she thought. Shaking off the memory back into its hold where she stored it at. She didn’t have time to mull over memory road when she had to get back to present.
-----
If there ever was a time she wanted to crawl back into her room… now was it. The place..was packed with people she passed by a few times in either the hallway or other faces whom she shared at classroom with. There were faces whom she barely recalled but knew she saw them around campus. The joys of being a transfer student. She mulled over sarcastically, adjusting her jacket to keep a sudden draft from giving her chills she let her orbs wonder around. Half masked in wonder while most of her expression firmly glued on a façade of disinterest. A person whom would rather be somewhere else than here. The other part hid the sharp attentiveness she used to study each person while making mental notes of her surroundings. She watched as Luka walked over to her, nodding at her host. “I…don’t know how you can manage to deal with these number of people… for that I applaud you sensei. Though I’m guessing I can skip out on that homework you gave me in exchange for attending hmm?” The edges of her lips quirked in a barely noticeable smile at the small attempted tease she threw at him. She felt the touch of his seals attached itself onto the skin at the back of her hand. She nodded again before quietly excusing herself to ‘mingle’ with the people. By mingle in her own words she meant keep healthy distance from the rest by settling close to the wall. An occasional conversation with a few school mates she actually knew and one classmate whom she shares half her classes with. But most of the time she did what Luka told her to do, keep a low profile while making sure she was just another ordinary party goer.
And when it was time for his signal the young female simply, ‘vanished’ into the crowd. Calling up all those old lessons and experience she carried from her former school. Stealth had always been her forte… It was easier to disappear for someone who never wanted to be noticed in the first place. Slipping out of the group unnoticed was the easy part. But to navigate her way into an area she barely knew was not going to be as simple as the first. Luka had been if not thorough in his planning he gave them enough time to memorize the blue prints and the layout of every corridor still the feeling was completely different from reading it out on a paper. The time on reading from the ‘scripts’ was long over the show started and now it was time for them to act out their roles. Summoning up the mental image of the same thing piece of paper Luka forced them to memorize the girl navigated the area as good as her memories gave her. She chewed the bottom of her lip as she walked. Sticking close to the shadows to avoid being detected as she soundless footsteps barely made a sound. Finally she reached a point in the west wing. A few more doors she spotted light coming from one of the rooms she guessed was the library from ahead of her she watched one of her classmates. Michael if her memory guessed right entered through the opened double doors. She waited for a bit before she made her way towards it. Walking into it like a soundless spectre. She found Luka already waiting for them she didn’t know whether or not they noticed her presence. When she made sure to walk in when their backs were turned away from the doors.
Without breaking her silent stride she made her way towards them, only to glance at the several titles lining up the shelves. Her orbs for the first time since this night actually sparked with interest. There were several rare copies she hadn’t heard still existed lining the same shelf she peered at out of curiosity. For a closet bookworm this was… quite honestly something she would be itching to get her hands on until she remembered she was a guest in someone’s home. It was that reminder that forced her to reign herself back in.

It took her an hour just to pick out what dress she would wear for the evening. Even if she was going to wear it briefly, there was something about looking good for the occasion that sat a lot better with Erika. She pulled the dress up to her mirror inspecting it. When was the last time she had worn this dress? Her first stint in being a rebellious teenager or rather her first hope at having a normal teenagehood. She and a few of her high school freshman mates had snuck into a very much so 18 and older party. A hunter party. A truly underground party. She had spotted the hunter first. It was deep into the Harajuku district. He was a lean thing. A mesh top and black leather pants, and spiked boots with various piercings all over his body. He looked rather tame for the district, but he looked common enough to blend in. The hunter was built for speed though and he took off melting into the crowd. Yet so was Erika. Granted with some effort, she had followed him, his bobbing head teasing her as she was just out of reach. Her friends' yells telling her to stop and be careful were but distant mews to her now as the hunter was more in reach.Just when she was about to reach out and touch him she was thrust into another world. Lights flashed everywhere. The music was blaringly loud and it made her skin jump. She had seen behavior of people she knew was not common in Japan and rather risque in nature. It had swallowed her whole only for her to receive a few bruises for not coming home when she should have. The blonde second year still considered it worth it.
So here she was wearing this little black mesh dress just slightly too sexy for her age, but no one had to know that. It was a dress that made exciting things happen and she was sure with swearing this to the utmost secrecy to the upperclassman, the kind third year cat boy, Luka, she was sure something was bound to happen. The mixed girl had pulled her hair up into a messy ponytail bun to which her bangs had framed her face musing to herself as she started her muted pink make up. The thought that she would dive into this mission without saying a word to Emery, Koda, and all the rest of the people she had befriended had made her stomach sink slightly. The magenta eyed girl was surprised how well she was able to keep the secret for this long. As she lined her lips darkly finishing the look, Erika had tried to push the lingering bits of doubt from her mind. She had made up her mind, hell, she practically volunteered after discussing things with Luka so the night came and it was time to perform. Rising up, she packed a change of clothes and hid her archery set as she made her way to the manor with a bubbling feeling of excitement similar to the time she had snuck into an underground party just a year or two ago.
She had melted into the music. From the start of entering the manor after hiding her items just in a distant reach from it, the music had lifted her and carried her inside. It was hypnotic and the half-Japanese girl had swayed her hips along to the beat. It was not until she had felt her hand being taken was then she had brought herself back to reality. She was not her to play but fir a little while. She had an objective. So not to draw attention to herself and stand out among the staff and the headmistress herself, Erika continued rocking to the beat, but Luka had made himself perfectly clear. She gave a brief, almost undetectable nod as he continued making rounds. Her eyes locked on the full surroundings and she kept the guise of a clueless student lost to the light and picturesque feeling of the night. The magenta eyed girl had bounced around laughing with a few of her friends that had shown up that night and making new acquaintances before mingling again into the dance crowd hopping from one side to the other and every space in between. To the observer, it seemed like a terribly dizzying effect. Yet at the signal she had gravitated to the most populated area mixing herself as the music switched to something highly upbeat and got the dance crowd to start jumping. She blended in until finally, she disappeared as if she was not there in the first place. As if she didn't exist at all.
So Erika gathered her belongings and had quickly changed out of dress and into more appropriate clothing. It took her a couple of teleports, but she had arrived as the last member and opened the door to the library. Luka was not kidding. The guards were posted everywhere. If anything, it would make things more difficult. So she kept quiet, closing the door and made her way to the geography section placing her things right beside a nearby chair and picking up a book about topographical markers in the Pacific Ocean. She sat down and pulled out about camera taking photos seemingly musing herself. Yet out the corner of her eye, she had eyed the guards as they remained diligent. Slowly yet surely, and in about calculated manner she had selected about few books that marked her closed to the west wing until finally while she was absolutely sure no one has about round or looking, she had vanished only leaving a stack of books in her wake.
The three faces before her in the west wing were familiar. Her eyebrows rose slightly. Two classmates of her even. The well-off child blond, Michael dressed in a sharp suit and the other a blond boy whom she briefly remembered as Kanazaki. Finally before her, the raven haired feline boy himself and propietor of this plan, Luka. She had given a small smile and and nod hoisting her bag concealing and holding her bow and arrows over her shoulder. A bit of anxiousness had risen in her stomach as she approached her fellow partners to put Luka's plan finally into action.Word Count: 1,061 TAGS: Luka de'Enguarde , Michael Cousteau , Katya Kanazaki NOTES:Currently wearing [ x ]; Party dress [ x ]; I broke the 1K border!~ Let me know if I need to change anything. When you're screaming out But you can't make a sound You know It's only a dream
Cause nothing is as bad as you think Even when you're pulling at the seams When the lights go out you still got me
Everyone started coming in, and in a bit of time, they were all gathered. Luka put one of his hands down on the table before him and the doors to the library shut and locked themselves. Well, hey, he had been practicing. "Alright. Now that we're all here, I will run over the plan one last time." Everyone had their parts to play, not that they hadn't heard it a million times by now, especially Michael who was often checking details of his plans. "Everything needs to be done quickly and quietly. It is incredibly dangerous, but should not be too difficult once we're actually there." It was obvious that the elder student was rather nervous, as his tail was twitching in an anxious fashion behind him, as well as the fact that his hands were trembling as he lay out the map on the table. "I just want to thank all of you for helping me with this. I.. I know it's dangerous.. I know what's on the line for all of us if we are caught, but I will do my best to take your sentences for you. After all, I'm the one behind all of this and I'll take the fall. If I have to.. You are all under my control. You will have no recollection of these events." Of course they would in reality, but his mother didn't need to know that. If they were caught, he was going to be punished, not them. "Alright. First.. The room is hidden. The door is seamlessly in a wall not to far from here. It isn't sealed up by anything special, just a pass code, which is easy enough to get by. Michael, your job is a simple one. Manipulate shadows in the hall. Make us seemingly invisible. You can stand guard outside the door and keep it hidden. My seals will help with that to an extent, but your shadows should be able to manage to keep everything hidden long enough for us to get in and out." He paused for a moment and looked towards Kat. "Your job is mostly if I fail. We might need a few of the seals I've been teaching you in case Michael's shadows fail, or if my own seals go down, as most of my energy will be spent on my brother. You have to be prepared for anything. Defensive, offensive, protection, illusion, whatever comes." Finally he looked towards Erika, offering a small smile. "And yours is probably the most needed out of all of this... I need you to get me in and out of that cage as fast as possible. I know the risks involved, but you will have a boost in power the whole time and it should be manageable. The trickiest part will be the out, since there will be me, as well as my brother. Perhaps a portal for that would be the best course of action." Not that he was going to tell anyone how to do exactly what they needed to do. This was it. They were really going to do it. Akira was finally going to have the freedom that he had promised. "If you all understand, we can get right to it then while my mother is still socializing. It will be a bit before she realizes that I'm gone." Mostly due to the fact that he had a dear shapeshifting friend parading around as himself. "Are there any questions?" Michael snapped the book shut and put it back on the shelf where he had found it, soon turning around as he slipped a hand into his pocket. His cold eyes brushed over the other two who had entered the room without much...kindness as he then looked back to Luka as the boy began to speak. He was silent as he just listened to him tell them the plan, nodding a little before he stepped forward to look at the map that was on the table finally. His eyes scanned over the paper and he lifted a hand to clap it on Luka's shoulder, gently squeezing it. "Nous allons passer à travers ça." He spoke in his native tongue without even having to glance at the third year, his tone sounding cold but his words, from the boy likely understanding them, bringing comfort in the very least. After a few moments he pulled his hand away and then tapped a finger on the map, silent at first in thought. "The seals will still enable us to speak from afar, oui? I'll try to predict anything that may happen and relay it to you all. But...it taxes me greatly so I will need to have a good spot to hide and rest lest I'll be found passed out." He spoke, pausing for another few moments before he finally lifted his gaze and briefly looked at the two before his attention moved back to their ringleader. "I'll stand guard for as long as possible, but we need to know any escape routes and places to take cover should something or someone interfere." [googlefont=Alice][googlefont=Lobster]

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | And the last member finally showed herself. From her vantage point nearly facing the door it was only a matter of time before she noticed the girl’s arrival. Another one of her classmates… she noted. Was it just her or did Luka specifically went for second years in recruiting for this plans of his. She mused, filling off the thoughts later for her amusement. She listened as the boy began to address them no sooner had the doors slammed shut via one of his seals she’s willing to bet. She really needed to ask Luka about that specific type of seal…
Too many people had been barging into her room lately did nothing to quell the internal paranoia festering in her veins these days. She couldn’t exactly pinpoint why she felt what she felt. She hadn’t had this feeling ever since their escapade back at her former school. Here she expected the feeling to feed… but there was something in the air around campus that did nothing but feed into it… She had long noticed when she arrived. There was something in the air that made her uncomfortable. The air around the campus felt oppressed for one reason or another. Like a permanent tense cloud settled into it from gods knows where.
She never dared shared any of these to the others. Why would she? So they could label her as a paranoid nut? She thought with disdained. Another thought she pushed back in favour of listening in to Luka’s going through their plan for the final time. After all those brainstorming and random bouts of tossing random scenarios that could impede their goal. Now was their time to actually initiate what the boy had been planning for months on it. She didn’t exactly ask how long he had been mulling about this. She figured it was a long time given how well they went through every detail and what ifs that could happen. She glanced at the only ‘female’ in the ground. Wyndham…she couldn’t exactly claim she knew her. She merely saw her in a few of her classes and most of the times she kept her distance from her own classmates.
She saw no point in socializing with them. It was enough she was going to classes with them. She saw no further point in furthering their relations. Last thing she needed was more bonds to worry about. She sighed softly under her breathe, nodding a few times as Luka went through her role in his scheme. “Alright I’ll keep those in standby just in case one of your seals starts fluctuating…” She said in a soft tone.
She sent a discreet glanced over to Michael, blue orbs noted the same chill in his tone as he spoke. French… Her brow rose in recognition. She couldn’t speak or understand the language but she knew how to recognize the tone from anywhere. She saw…a few animes depicting French speaking people. She wished she learned the language, but English was already enough in her book. Her hand randomly twiddled with a zipper latch on her jacket. Mulling over the plan in her mind at every angle while a hidden voice taking the same tone as one of her former instructors kept repeating a single phrase in her head. No plan survives first contact. That’s a rule they drilled into their heads. The girl bit her bottom lip in thought. Multitasking her attention between the trio and towards debating whether it was a good idea to bring another fail safe into the mix. She admired Luka’s dedication towards it, and the back-up plan of him taking the fall for them should his plan fail. She wasn’t optimistic enough to see them getting through this unscathed if they were ever caught. Either expulsion or something a lot worse in the eyes of the law. Another thing to note about in the pros and cons list. Perhaps that’s what forced her hand into contacting an old friend when she in turn maid several oaths to distance herself from the former madness she had to endure. “You worry too much senpai… but if were in the topic of prevention… then I might be able to add something in there….” She began hesitating at the last bit as she brought her gaze down to the floor. She was still having an internal conflict with herself. Going through several pros and cons into letting them in on a secret she kept with the rest of her former classmates back in japan. “I have.. something that might be able to use as another fail safe should…as the English say. ‘shit hit the fan.’” She worded lifting her stare to face them. “But… I want an oath and your word this will never be repeated.” She stated softly. Already fingering one of the keychains dangling from her phone.

She filed into the room quietly taking a seat at the table before them as Luka began to speak once again going over the plan that would be put into action for this very night. Her magenta eyes glanced over to him intently noting the anxious here and there of his slick, feline tail. She wished she could have given him some form of encouragement that they would all make out of this alright, but Erika was not clairvoyant. She could not say for sure everyone would make it unscathed, but the sheer fact that Luka was more than willing to risk so much for his brother and for the group had inspired her. The least that the champagne haired girl could do was give her best for the third year and carry out her assignment to the best of her ability. From there her eyes had moved over to one of her classmates, Michael Cousteau, and she was met with the cool and not exactly inviting gaze that had seemed to have lasted less than a fraction of a second before it focused back on Luka. She had yet to have interacted with him for much of the year beyond seeing him in the classroom, but with the mission in front of them, that was inevitable now. With him being here though, she could not help but think that Luka was an important person to him for him to be helping out with so many risks involved. She mused that maybe behind the ice cold personality, his character was much warmer than his outward appearance. And finally her gaze drifted to Kanazaki whose ever aloof blue eyes she met when she had phased into the room. It was hard to tell what was on the blond boy's face seeing as though he hardly ever showed any form of emotion beyond a lackadaisical or nonchalant expression. Was he nervous about this as Luka was? Did he feel excitement like her and just kept it to herself? She left her musings as her name rang out loud and clear from Luka. Erika immediately focused back on the plan as she met Luka's smile and immediately ushered one in return.
"...And yours is probably the most needed out of all of this... I need you to get me in and out of that cage as fast as possible. I know the risks involved, but you will have a boost in power the whole time and it should be manageable. The trickiest part will be the out, since there will be me, as well as my brother. Perhaps a portal for that would be the best course of action."
She repeated the words once more in her mind. Perhaps a portal? She furrowed her eyebrows. Sure, Erika had been practicing and the second year would even say that since arriving at Aurora and with the help of the teachers that she had gotten a lot better at portal jumping, however, portal jumping was still an unpredictable ability for her that she was not fully confident in and that terrified her that she would be the one to jeopardize the mission. She could open a portal any time, but as to where that portal would take them, she could not fully gain control of that. Most of it was based on a roulette form of chance and with a seal of a boost of power, it did mildly concern her what it would do. Would it make her powers go haywire? Would she send them into an abandoned island out in the vast oceans? Swatting away the demons buzzing around by her head, she resolved that she would just have to try and face the situation when it came. In the mean time, she had witnessed Michael say something in French, something that Erika could not understand or catch, but judging by the hand on his shoulder, it seemed to be a word of assurance that they mutually understood. Her eyes were brought back over to Kanazaki as she spoke up about a fail safe plan. Her eyes widened, piqued with a bit of curiosity and interest though a small laugh escaped her lips at her comment:
“I have.. something that might be able to use as another fail safe should…as the English say. ‘shit hit the fan.’”
"The English? Sounds like something the Yanks would say love." Erika drawled with a small giggle to lighten the mood a bit. She wanted nothing more than for the mission to go well and she was ready to help Luka and give it her all before the Headmistress had caught on. She raised her hand looking towards Luka and gave him an earnest grin.
"Just one question love: When do we start?"

When you're screaming out But you can't make a sound You know It's only a dream
Cause nothing is as bad as you think Even when you're pulling at the seams When the lights go out you still got me
Well, they all seemed to be in good spirits at least. He did glance towards Kat as she mentioned some sort of fail safe plan, but he shook his head. "It won't be necessary. I have many calculated strategies should things go... Less than expected. I would hate to exert any of you this night.. This was something that I had planned on doing alone, but... I have since learned that my trust in others perhaps would be the best course of action. My brother can be very unpredictable, and incredibly unstable. Should things go... Wrong..." He paused, his ears flattening on the top of his head. "I will take it. But the rest of you will get to safety as quickly as possible. I have no doubt in each of your abilities. This will go exactly as I planned it to." He couldn't help the thought of 'hopefully' from drifting into his head. "Well then. Let's do this!" Luka smiled, but it was obvious that his anxiety had not fallen away. But it wasn't all about their mission. After all, he picked them for their abilities, for their loyalty in him. They would not fail. It was not them that he was worried about, but instead, the monster that lay within his brother. If he were to get free before he could quell Akira.. Well, then there would really be a problem. The cat boy patted his pocket, making sure that the syringe of sedatives was still securely in place, just in case. The third year made his way to the doors, which opened all on their own, as he peeked around them. He motioned towards them, beckoning them to come out with him. "Alright, Michael. You're up. We need to get from here, to there." He pointed towards a wall which was marked by a brightly glowing seal about halfway down the hallway. "We cannot be seen." The blonde teen flicked his cold eyes towards the two others who had spoken, saying nothing as Luka soon enough answered them. He took a step away from the table and took one last glance towards the map before his eyes moved back to the boy. He watched as he walked towards the doors and just walked over as his cue was up, acting as if he owned the place as he kept his hands at his sides. As he made his way towards the doors, shadows gathered towards him and grew in size, almost seeming to pulse with life as he let it crawl over him and continue growing. "I suggest you all stay close and do not try to touch the shadows, I will do my best to not let them touch you as well since it seems to numb whatever it touches and, thus, prevents much use of mobility to other people." He spoke up, manipulating the shadows to wrap around him and the others as they would come over. "I'll take the lead naturally, stay close and move slowly and for the love of gods, do not make a sound. I can conceal us but I cannot block out sounds and I doubt the people here are that stupid. So if your shoes make any noise while walking take them off and carry them." He added as he threw the three of them a cold scowl before he looked away to slowly move out of the library with the guise of his shadows and stuck close to the wall. He continued to move forward in the general direction they needed to head towards, one hand on the wall as the shadows concealed them, Michael being sure to keep the shadows close to the other three but not close enough to touch them. Occasionally he would stop as he heard someone in the hall, remaining still until he was sure they were gone before he continued on again. There wasn't any harm in being too careful, now was there? He remained silent as he kept moving forward silently until they reached the door. He reached back and carefully pulled Luka before him, expanding the shadows so he could get it open. "I'll stay here then, but I'll contact you all if anything happens. Luka, I hope you've been practicing Romanian..." And with that he went silent again as he waited for them all to pass through the door so he could fall back to keep guard as well as keep the doorway concealed for the time being. 精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | It was perhaps that very self same care he expressed towards his brother that changed her mind to actually helping him. Katya uttered a soft sigh, between relief at not having to entangle another innocent soul into this James bond themed rescue mission Luka involved them into. Or exasperation as his words barely dealt a blow towards the bubbling cauldron of worries stirring down inside her gut. She took extra precaution to keep her thoughts from showing through her face by separating her worries from her own emotions. Having been doing this for so long it came as easy as instinct to the young child. An actress had to the same to maintain character. Despite the threat of losing her own identity she still kept her act.
It was all she knew after all. To keep a fine wall between her thoughts and emotions. Letting them intermix would just cause internal chaos with the system she’s been functioning on for years. Which wasn’t what she could safely label as productive in this case. Her case had been proven once again through. She quickly placed a stop to her line of thinking. Halting the buzzing line of thoughts from touching towards the pandora’s box within her memories. She paused it out, shoving it roughly to the side. She veered her glance towards the two noting their separate responses towards her suggestion. Erika’s reply managed to get the corner of her lips to curve into a barely noticeable smile until it returned to normal as if it never happened.
“As you wish then…” She stated softly, dropping the subject now that she had their answer. And her nerves somewhat quelled at not having to relieve another portion of the past she’s been trying to bury. She’s already relieving enough of it for Luka’s sake. At Luka’s signal she nodded watching the point to where the cat earned boy gestured towards the wall where her sharp blue gaze quickly caught the glowing rune beckoning them onwards. He really had everything thought after. Even multiple back-ups. She prayed he had several in his arsenal. It didn’t hurt to have at least a few dozen when it came to inside jobs such as these.
She could still hear one of her former teacher’s strict explanations. Precise to the point of view of a soldier sneaking into enemy grounds. If she closed her eyes she might as well imagine the familiar grounds of their isolated classroom separated from the rest the campus grounds by a small forested hill. She sighed softly, cutting off memory lane just as Michael began his part of the plan. He hadn’t needed to tell her twice but first she let the others go first. Opting to stay in the back she had the seals Luka requested ready at the back of her mind. The incantations literally at the tip of her tongue. One nudge she’ll be able to get them up once god forbid; Luka’s seals start failing. The girl’s own rubber soled shoes hardly made a sound against the carpeting. Soft unmistakable trained steps, while still keeping pace with the shadows enveloping their persons. She listened to the man’s own warning about touching the dark shade lingering around their bodies. Keeping a small but healthy distance away from it. They walked, they stopped, hugging the shadows for dear life just as well as the walls they nearly had their backs pressed to every time Michael came to a halt. Her body stiffen at the sounds of coming footsteps, voices from a few guards walking by until they vanished towards another corridor did she expel the breath she was holding. Finally they reached the first stage, the door in which Michael, from what little she could catch from their silent conversation choose to stay back.
She wasn’t about to argue with him, seeing how him standing guard with his shadows would conceal the doorway better than him following after them. Still that didn’t mean she liked the idea of leaving another person on their own. The boy seems to know how to handle himself to which she gave no fuss. She didn’t even add her own two cents in, instead she merely followed right after Luka.

Quietly, yet curiously Erika watched the exchange between the two boys with Luka confirming the failsafe plan and that there would not need to be any additional ones. It had caused the blonde haired girl to think just how long this plan had been coming into action that he thought of all potential outlets just in case Murphy's law would decide to take effect at the most inconvenient of times. Nonetheless, the magenta-eyed girl had trusted Luka especially in return for the trust that he had shwon them. She watched the onyx-haired boy before gathering her bag and slinging it around her shoulder.
As she got up, the doors eerily opened by themselves. She supposed it was Luka's doing. The door were too tough and a bit too close to the antique aesthetic to seemingly open by themselves. She rushed over as the third year had waved them over staying close behind her group members, though wary as the shadows on the floor had started to move. Erika's eyes widened as they grew, they pulsed, and they seemed to come to life. The half-Brit was hardly sure if she should have been disturbed or intrigued and had wondered why they were reacting the way they were. That was until Michael had strolled out towards the door ready to go over his instructions at Luka's behest:
"I suggest you all stay close and do not try to touch the shadows," Erika had looked up, her hair whipping sharply as her hand had already reached out to touch a shadow's tendril. She sheepishly moved it back just in time before she was able to touch it letting out a brief and small awkward laugh. She shook her head admonishing herself. Here she was already jeopardizing the mission due to something so minor. She continued to listen to her classmate attentively willing herself to focus on the future assignments ahead of her. "I will do my best to not let them touch you as well since it seems to numb whatever it touches and, thus, prevents much use of mobility to other people." Her eyes widened as she let out a small sigh of relief thanking Michael silently that he had told her just in time just what the shadows were capable of. She fell into a sort of formation with the other boys making sure to stick as close to both Kanazaki and Luka as possible while the affluent blonde would lead them in silence.
"I'll take the lead naturally, stay close and move slowly and for the love of gods, do not make a sound. I can conceal us but I cannot block out sounds and I doubt the people here are that stupid. So if your shoes make any noise while walking take them off and carry them." Erika shrunk back a little. She could not help but think that was for her. She took a look at her clunky ankle boots and while they did not make the obvious clicking sounds that the heels she wore earlier made, she was sure that it was better to be safe than to be sorry and so with an exasperated sigh, she took off her heels one by one throwing them into her bag leaving her feet to skid along the library floor. The upside, she mused, was that at least she'd have a lot more mobility now. The downside, however, was that if she had made it through this mission, she would stay an extra thirty minutes in her bathtub just scrubbing the underside of her feet with a pumice stone for good measure. After giving him a thumbs up, she crept behind the rest of them as they inched towards their destination. She observed how heavily guarded everything was with wide eyes and wondered just why would they need to guard a teenager in such a manner as if he were a criminal. Her heart already ached for this Akira person. Certainly, he did not do anything wrong to deserve treatment like this. At least, any that she was aware of at the current time.
They eventually reached the door and she watched as Luka slipped in. Kanazaki seemed to hesitate for but a moment, but the words that he seemed to want to say died on his lips before they even seemed to be spoken. He too slipped inside past the door. Erika had turned a bit worried on her own that Michael would be by himself guarding the door, she gave him a small smile of appreciation, before slipping through the door silently herself. The first stage was done. The guards from what she was aware of were clueless for the time being and the second stage would need to take place. Though excitement range through every pore of her body, the nervousness that Luka had earlier seemed to have been contagious and she caught it as well. Erika took a calming breath though, steeling her nerves. They had already started and it was far too late to turn back now. Her look turned to one of determination as her beryl eyes turned towards Luka for further instructions in order to commence phase two of Luka's plan.

When you're screaming out But you can't make a sound You know It's only a dream
Cause nothing is as bad as you think Even when you're pulling at the seams When the lights go out you still got me
Luka was very glad that the first part went as well as he had hoped for. Of course there were a few guards that roamed the halls, but nothing overpowering. They had managed to make it to the door rather easily, and he quickly went about opening it. At first it had looked like just another piece of the wall, until it slid open. He quietly ushered the two girls in after him as he headed down the stairs. There wasn't much light, but still, he granted them the ability to see. A small motion came from the older male towards Kat, telling her to wait right there on the stairs as he proceeded down with Erika. This was really the best place for Kat to be, as she could either run up and help Michael should he need it, or run down to help Luka if he did. As they descended, the air became much thicker it seemed, filled with a sort of despair that could only have come from his brother. His whole body shook at the thoughts of what they had done to him over the last four years, how terrible it must have been. But that was why he was here. That was the whole purpose of this mission, to break him free. Once they hit the bottom of the stairs, Luka stopped dead in his tracks, just staring at the cage before him. The room itself was rather small, with the cage they kept his brother in right in the middle, dimly lit by a single light off in the corner. "It's... Empty..." The one thing that he hadn't planned on. They moved him? Where? When? How? Slowly he sank to the ground. "He's not... Here.." Of course the heartache that filled him at the thought that perhaps he had died was too much for him. "All of this planning.. All of this risk.. For.. Nothing.." ~ ~ ~ ~ Meanwhile, at the entrance to the basement room, a certain dark haired twin stood in the hall, literally staring down the blonde with the shadows. "Look, I know you're here. Stupid big brother Luka is a careless little twat. So come on out, and maaaaybe I won't report you. Or maybe I will. I mean. I kinda just wanted to pass through to see the look of utter and absolute defeat on his face." [googlefont=Philosopher][googlefont=Pattaya][googlefont=Lobster Two]

Michael had retreated to a corner close to the doorway with the shadows still concealing that and himself. He was silent as he kept guard for the most part, waiting for any signal from Luka or the other two. However, at the words from one of Luka's siblings, the blonde teen clenched his teeth together as he scowled at the dark-haired boy from the cover of his shadows. "Avem o companie și nu arată bine..." He uttered out quietly in Romanian so that the older boy would hear him due to the seals. Well fuck, now what was he supposed to do? He certainly couldn't have him get to Luka and the others... Was there any way for him to close the door? "Există vreo modalitate prin care să pot închide ușa?" He quietly questioned Luka, shifting slightly as he kept his eyes on the boy as he was ready to react as well. "What are you talking about?" He spoke as he moved to stand before the doorway, still keeping the shadows around himself but most importantly the door. He kept his eyes on the boy as he tried to see if there was anything he could do to give Luka and the other two more time. If anything, figure out what this kid meant by his words. "What are you even doing over here instead of the party?" [googlefont=Alice][googlefont=Lobster]

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | Commencing phased two the moment they slid through the entry way. Leaving behind Michael to guard their backs. He can manage it…right? Would he be fine all on his own? Kat couldn’t help but entertain the current line of thoughts flooding into her brain threatening to pull her out of the forced concentration she aligned herself into. Luka’s plan was at stake should either one of them make a wrong move. One tiny slip and the domino effect was likely to tumble across all those carefully detained plans Luka spent months on it to devised.
A month wasted… with possibly a larger consequence hanging over their heads. They are sneaking into the residence of the headmistress herself which could… if she remembered her lessons with law. Consequent in trespassing despite the blaringly loud echoes of the festivities dancing away oblivious to the detail of three students currently absent from it. All for what… for a family Luka claimed was being held against his will. It did occur to her there might a reason as to why the headmistress was willingly butchering more than a few laws in the human guide book. One would be false imprisonment… and then there’s the glaring child abuse any right-minded authority figure would slap against Luka’s parents. Katya however wasn’t naïve enough to believe in all those stories about good triumphing over evil every time. The world was a true grey for her, human nature mixed with greed and its quench for power has its ways in manipulating the minds of many. Including those supposed to upholding the laws of justice. The girl thought sarcasm shadowing through her line of thought.
She forcefully snapped her mind back to the present. A quick glanced in the back told her Erika was following their path now completely leaving Michael to defend their entry way. And soon it was going to be her turn contribute something into their plan. Through the barely lit stairway they climbed downwards into the sea of darkness waiting to swallow them alive. Katya squinted her gaze, trying to adjust her sight into the darken passage. It was there when one of Luka’s seals kicked in granting them temporary night vision through the mess of black. Still it made her eyes watered trying as her sight made its own adjustments to it. She blinked, a few drops of tears slid through the side until she wiped it off before anyone got a chance to notice.
To which she highly doubted given their current environment… The chances of them noticing the tiniest of details from their comrades, when they’re far too entranced with their roles dropped to around 10%. The inner part of her still argued at it, ten percent was still a chance, given how much a few people up there seemingly have something against her.
She sighed, pushing off another bouts of thoughts concerning her luck to the side. Thinking made for some amusement while she trailed off after them. Listening to the little small bit of commands Luka. There was a thickness in the air she noticed the farther down they went. Like the tense aura of despair seemingly hovering over the academy. It made the foreboding gloom lingering in the pits of her stomach rise. She swallowed down the lump forming on her throat. She batted away in vain the lingering discomfort with the only thing showing on her face about it was with how her lips curled into a bothered frown. Even that she managed to school back into her nonchalant mask. Midway Luka stopped, now gesturing for her to stay behind she nodded at his words. “Hai… should something happen… I’ll send a small warning through the seal…” She muttered softly on his ear before he walked downwards with Erika. Midway point meant she could assist either party, Luka or Michael or god forbid…be another line of defence should Michael’s defence fall first. Such trouble… She leaned against the wall, looking upwards to the top of the stairway. Why…why couldn’t she erased that foreboding sense of something about to happen?... She didn’t know why.
