POWER DESCRIPTIONS

Foresight - With this ability, Michael can see events or actions in the future. However, he cannot control it very well and it happens randomly for the young man. A painful headache will strike him and it can last from a minute to five minutes as he receives a 'vision' of what is to come. At times, Michael will be forced to bed rest due to the excruciating pain he goes through from this power.

Umbralkineses - With this elemental ability, Michael can manipulate shadows around him. He can only, thus far, make them move and gather together. When someone other than himself touches or is touched by the shadows he manipulates, the spot where the person has been touched will grow numb for up to ten minutes at most. Note, he cannot create or summon shadows out of the blue. He must be near shadows in order to manipulate them.

APPEARANCE

The young man stands roughly at 5'11" with a slender yet fit build and weighs approximately 145 lbs. His skin tone is that of a pale color, and easily burnable if in direct sunlight for too long. His hair is a blond color, somewhat paled, and is groomed, per say, to look his part of a gentleman despite his age. His eyes are a strikingly cold blue, a haunted look seemingly filling them from time to time. He often is seen wearing a white suit with mostly blue dress shirts and a black tie - something that had grown to be a habit for him due to how he was raised. Michael has no scars or birthmarks to speak of, but can be seen wearing a silver ring on his pointer finger of his right hand. He carries a gun on him at all times, concealed naturally and the safety always on unless he has it in his hand.

PERSONALITY

Michael is a relatively quiet person, preferring a good book and a nice cup of coffee over someone trying to talk his ears off. Though despite how quiet he can be, he does enjoy the company of others at times even if he won't speak much. However, once he gets to know a person he will be more likely to speak more than usual. He has this cold demeanor about him that doesn't really let others get too close to him, but once someone is able to break past a wall or two they can see that he really is just a relatively normal... Person who likes to hang out and occasionally have some fun some way. He can be a pretty serious person when it comes to getting something done, always making sure to be cautious first and reckless later. When comfortable around someone, Michael opens up a bit more and is a sarcastic person, as well as going the extra mile to tease someone if he so feels like it. Though, just because he is quiet and can be occasionally nice, he can get pretty fierce and, if anything, scary as well. He hates it when people try to push his buttons, bother him, or even try to mess with those he deems as 'friends'. He won't hesitate to lash out at someone if driven to that point, and he won't care who it is if he is pushed even further. But Michael does know his limits and when to back down from a fight, despite possibly wanting to punch someone's face in terribly so. When backing down from a fight or argument, he will most likely sulk and give the evil eye to anyone who tries to bother him for a few hours up to a day or so, depending on how big or bad of a fight or argument it was.

BIOGRAPHY

Michael was born in France to a wealthy family whom were well known in the country. Michael, being the youngest, has four elder brothers who help his parents with politics and side jobs. He was mostly home-schooled and taught by a private tutor who taught him how to play the piano, speak English and Romanian, and more. By the age of ten, he was taught by his father and eldest brother how to properly handle a gun - a tradition that had formed within his family over time where the children, when they turned ten, would learn how to properly and safely handle a weapon. It took about a year for him to be able to carry his gun around on his own without much worry of accidentally shooting himself or someone else, his family having used their own power and money to get him a...pass of sorts to enable him to not get in trouble for having a gun on him - even if it were concealed.

However when he turned twelve, the boy had nearly been kidnapped by a group of people who belonged to a mafia. Rather... A rival mafia. Like an iceberg floating in the arctic waters, Michael's family reveals to be that of a wealthy family who takes part in politics and charities - only this is the surface of what people know. Beneath the clever masks, the Cousteaus are, in reality, a mafia who dwell in the darker parts of life; hidden in plain sight and like a rattlesnake curled under a flower. Only Michael and those he decides to let in on this dark secret know about this side of his family, otherwise he is mainly known to be a wealthy, French politician's child.

Though, by the time he turned fifteen his parents had decided to send Michael off to a boarding school due to his...unruly behavior. The teen had been 'acting out' at home, not wanting to have much part in the family means of business - both political and not-so-legal. His parents, deciding that the best way to extinguish his small rebelling, then sent him off to become a first year at a boarding school they found. Occasionally checking up on their son through people who work for them. He also has permission to carry his weapon on him nearly all the time due to their...persuasion and giving charitable amounts of money to 'help' keep the school running.

Michael is now in his second year of the school, having mostly grown used to finally living away from home and interacting with the peasants who reside there as well. He does not have many friends, though he does not really care about that. However, even he will not absolutely refuse any means of someone trying to form a friendship with him - most times. He still gets extremely painful headaches from his foresight power, not really able to control it all that much but getting better at it. Though he seems to have a better handle of his umbralkinesis far more than his foresight, however even that can drain his energy if he uses it too much
