精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | One pack, two packs…she counted mentally. Making sure she had the correct number of gummy bear packets in her possession. Of all errands a teacher would send a student to do it never crossed her mind one would actually ask a student to ran down into the school store to get him a few packs of processed sugar shaped into tiny bears. Not that she was dissing the treat. She had her own supply of sweets hidden underneath a mix of metal and seals and locked with a key for good measure.
Ever since she found out her luck kept attracting people who enjoyed kicking her dorm room down. She… had to resort to dire methods in protecting her possessions. Which practically reminded her the need to ask for their resident seals master advise in how to form locking seals or merely ask him if he could lend her one. She frowned as the final sentence of that thought formed. She had a thing against asking people for things she knew she’s very capable of doing. Her pride didn’t mix well with it, until the logical part of her reminded her quite firmly what happens when she dabbles in seals she knew nearly nothing about.
Locking seals ironically were part of that foreign area she hadn’t had much time to train in. Between practicing the other seals Luka had been trying to teach her and other matters…the girl found her time slowly being stretched. Another reason to cause the budding grimace to mar the child’s distant façade. Another sigh as she trailed back to the pathways leading to the Semora, barely noticing the faint swirl coming from a gust of summer’s breeze. She walked maybe for about five minutes. Half mulling over the swirling thoughts trying to beg for her attention until she snapped her attention back to the world of the living once the tip of her shoe nearly collided with the door leading inside.
There was a chill emanating from the wooden surface when she pushed through a bit of force to open the door. Canadian air despite it being the start of summer, still carried a hint of chill at the corner. Walking into the building she made a beeline straight for where she left the man still possibly working on the set of papers needing to be graded. Is it normal to feel a slight bit sympathy towards their teachers, when it came to seeing them having to handle god knows how many stacks of paperwork? She mused, pushing the newest set of thoughts to be added into the collection of afterthoughts she had been assembling. Food for thoughts to feed through the eternal boredom in a vain effort to stave off its spread.
“Professor? I got the sweets you ask for…” She mumbled softly, peeking her head through the half open door way of the silent classroom. No other student in sight, the rest bailing out the second the bell rang lunch time. She hadn’t been all that hungry to drag her arse all the way to cafeteria and enter another battle of bodies to try and get food and then the idea of sitting close to so many people didn’t sit well with her while she lacked the necessary sleep to deal with that chaos.

321 words notes | [attr="class","rae-scroll"]He didn't often send students on missions for him, but for whatever reason, he found himself stuck in this tiny little box of a place. Well, that was a lie really. Truth was, he didn't actually want to leave it. As quiet as it was during the day, he still couldn't help but feel drawn to what lay beneath it. He could almost feel it shifting down there, stirring, getting ready for... Something not good. But still, his sweet tooth had kicked in in the middle of his class, so he had sent a student out to reluctantly get some of his favorite treat for him.
It wasn't long before the student reappeared, and his magenta eyes focused on the bags in hand. It was merely an instant before he was before her, taking the beloved snacks, and then teleporting back to his desk. Magic was easy enough, after all, that was why he was here, teaching these kids right? But he supposed it ran a little deeper than that. In truth, he wanted to try and do his part to protect them from the evil below this very building, at least, as much as he could anyways.
"Thank you~ Much appreciated~" His voice was as light and airy as it always was, and he smiled brightly in his appreciation of the student. "Now if only I wasn't so bombarded by all of these final reviews." Why should he have to do paperwork? It wasn't like any of these classes were actually his to deal with right? He was just the substitute! But that meant that he had the most free time of any of them... And no one really knew who or what he was. Surely if they did, they wouldn't be making him review the students like this.
About then, he realized the student had still not left. "Isn't it lunch time? Aren't you going to go and eat?"

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | There was a certain whimsical spirit she liked about this professor. Out of all the ones she met in the campus Professor Evangelos has to be one of those she saw as truly interesting. Not just in his teaching but his personality didn’t mirror the norm which for some reason she cant explain she actually liked in the older man. A nod came from the young child as her cerulean hued orbs lifted to watch him move from his desk, disappearing and then appearing right in front of her then back towards his desk all in under a blink of an eye. She blinked, having been caught off guard at the sudden use of teleportation.
“Though…isn’t paperwork a normal duty for a teacher professor?” The girl offered a soft reply. Tilting her head slightly to side in an innocent manner before she moved back to her desk. They had another hour right after lunch so she found no reason why she should leave when she was already here. Even at tantalizing offer of getting away from the unnerving sense of dread hanging around the building. The girl couldn’t understand why… but there was a lingering shadow around the school, particularly this part of the campus that did nothing but cause a dull ache to pound at her temple. She mostly ignored it, being used to occasional headaches this wasn’t anything new to her.
Though the constant attacks were beginning to cause her worry. She shook it off, soundless steps barely echoed as the girl made her way towards her seat before settling in to read a few passages from the book Luka loan out to her about seals. The dull ache was still there, pounding away into an annoying thud as the girl did her best to ignore it. She was maybe on the second paragraph when his voice managed to shake her concentration the girl look up, thinking for a moment before she spoke out a reply. “It is… at least I think it is..” She paused for a bit, glancing back at the clock to check the time. “Yeah its lunch… though I’m not all that hungry…” She shrugged for a bit, debating whether or not to continue until she merely did so anyway. “My stomach can wait till later… It’s Thursday anyway… the one time of the week where that famous hotel in town actually sells their famous dark forest gateau. So I think I’ll survive…”

338 words notes | [attr="class","rae-scroll"]As soon as he sat back down he pulled open his treats and began setting them up on his desk, clearing some of the stacks of paper out of the way as he did so, separating the bears into different colors. "Well, yes. But I am not a real teacher. I do not have my own class, so I get stuck with everyone else's work, as I have non of my own. I'm just a glorified secretary most days." He muttered. How boring that was. Still, once he had all the bears arranged how he wanted them, he opened a drawer of his desk, pulling out tiny toothpicks and bits of cardboard, making swords and shields for the little bears. He watched as the girl retreated to her seat, pulling out a book on seals. How interesting. Though, it wasn't like he didn't know she was a sealist.
After a bit of time, he motioned his hand above the bears and started laughing a bit here and there as they went to all out war on his desk, though he doubted the girl could see it from where she was sitting. Still, it was truly glorious this time. Heads were being lopped off, limbs were being tugged at and pulled apart, and of course the red and green ones were actually in some form of war, hitting each other with their toothpicks. It was so greatly entertaining, that he would pick up the corpses of the fallen bears and eat them as he watched the rest fight to the death.
Once there was only a single bear remaining, he picked it up and stood, moving over to a small shelf he had, and set it up with the previous winners, taking the animation from it and letting it just sit there in all its tiny bear glory. Of course he hadn't missed the girl's comment about the chocolatey delight being served in town. "Mmm.. Perhaps if you bring me some, you will get an A on this review."

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | It was the laughter that first drew her in. Calling for her innate curiosity to peer out from its slumber. Laughter that the child quietly pondered on what caused their mysterious substitute to burst out in joy. It was the self-same curiosity that drew her out of her book to glance back towards the teacher’s desk. Blue orbs hit their mark and soon she raised an eyebrow at the sight she was witnessing. She wasn’t that far away from the man’s desk not to see the tiny movement of jellied legged sweets waddling across his desk in an all-out war. A campaign if you will, that’s the first thing that came to mind while watching a bunch of candies fight it out. One even lopped a fellow bear’s head off its shoulder.
Brutal, true… but watching it in some way reminded her of last weeks history lessons about how the ancients used to fight their wars only this time… with a sweet visual guide to help visualized the scene. Now if only Mr. Evangelos took over their history lesson last week and did this on it then maybe she wouldn’t have been threatening to fall asleep on it. Another limb came flying much to her inner amusement.
“That….would have been a nice history lesson…” She muttered softly, glancing down at her forgotten book then right back to the teacher only to blink at his latest comment. She didn’t know whether the man was simply joking but…to hear a man condoning bribery in exchange for sweets?... She merely shrugged. Who was she kidding anyway. It’s not like she hadn’t heard this before. “Don’t… I always do it once every now and then?...”
