精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES piano song she's currently playing. | One last time the song faded into silence once more bringing back the natural quietness surrounding her. Once more her hands betrayed as it danced through the keyboard happy it was once more reunited with its wayward lover. Once more Katya failed to comprehend her own reasons for venturing out in the middle of the night. Through a thick white mist now covering the grounds akin to a thinly draped blanket being wrapped around a sleeping child. There was a coldness that lingered in the air. Dipping the temperatures well under three degrees which was normal in European countries. Much less a country so close to the Scandinavian border.
That didn’t mean though she liked the chill threatening to grip at her bone. But what… really confused the girl was the urged to be someone she wished to forget, a trip to memory road you could say. Red strands fell in delicate waves down her back as the girl hummed through the tune of the song that once echoed from the piano in front of her. Remember… remember what? She was confusing herself with all her contradictions. She claimed to despised music, to hate the notion of its existence yet like a skulking lover she yearned for its touch. A drug she can’t help but be addicted to. Which was why she was here. Here within a vacant school. Shrouded with the darkness now circling through the silent halls.
It’s silly isn’t it. Red orbs glimmered, pausing at her hands that remained still on the keys. She didn’t dare move it, she willed for it to leave the board but they refused until she finally gave up. Uttering an unheard sigh within the empty walls. Kat often made excuses for her own actions, she figured going in her old disguise would at least eliminate any chances of her being recognized. But at the moment of sheer stupidity she conveniently forgot her said disguise happens to be known as an international icon. She was half tempted to slam her face straight into the keys but wisely refrained until she let out another sigh to join the unseen air around her. One more song…she figured. Let her own nerves have one last go before she forces everything back into the dark box where they belong.
A soft tune began within the silent walls. Soon filling the lonely room with a somber yet calming tune. One of her originals, she’s been so young when she made it. It was supposed to be for her aunt but now she didn’t really know. The woman never liked anything remotely sad. She chuckled to herself, closing her eyes to allow her nerves relief as she continued to play but at the same time with each ring of the piano keys she felt a pang stab at her heart. A flinch wanted to freeze her form but she expertly held it back allowing her to appear as calm as possible. There was no one around though, who would she hide from?
Perhaps the silent ghosts lingering within the quiet hallway.

胸を裂く 破裂する. . きっと死ぬほど美しい My heart is breaking, And splitting, surely it's so beautiful I could die [attr="class","Again"] ❝ Rumor had it there was a haunted room in the arts wing. Yuuki, having more experience than the average bear with ghosts and spirits of all sorts, was anything but afraid. They were cautious, yes, but hardly apprehensive. Unable to get to sleep after an unwise quantity of coffee that afternoon, they decided this was as good a night as ever to investigate the hauntings. Personally, Yuu rather doubted the presence of any spirits. They spent a great deal of time in the art wing and hadn't caught so much as a tingle of an otherworldly presence. It was probably just another student or two playing a prank. Hell, maybe they'd just started a rumor and there was nothing more to it than air? But if a "ghost" hunt was going to be Yuuki's excuse for not having slept, they were actually going to have to go investigate.
Dressed in a lemur kigurumi and a pair of black slipper-sock-shoe things, the once-haunted youth tied back their shoulder-length hair in a half-ponytail to keep it out of the way and crept stealthily out of the dorms. On silent feet they padded across the campus, mist swirling around them with an eeriness that Yuu quite enjoyed. With a careless abandon, they twirled the tail of their kigurumi in the air to the side, whipping the mist into wild wisps of vapor that positively seethed around their lithe form. Before too long they reached the side door to the art wing and, after a moment's work with a lock picking set, let themself in.
They heard music from the moment they opened the door. It sounded like a piano. Leaving the door closed and locked behind them, they padded silently though the halls, following the melody. It was very pretty, beautiful even, and Yuuki found themself not proceeding with the due caution a potential haunting would call for. Then again, they didn't actually expect anything spirit-related was in effect so what could a little musical enjoyment hurt?
Then the music stopped. The air seemed uncommonly still in the deserted and silent hallway in which Yuu stood. Undeterred, they continued on towards the music rooms, sure that would be from whence the music came. Much to their delight they were correct. As they rounded a corner the music began again and Yuuki couldn't help but smile at the tune. They were no expert on music but they had a good ear and near perfect pitch when they chose to sang. To their ear this melody was simply lovely.
One doorway wasn't dark like the rest of the building. On tiptoe, Yuu snuck over to the lit classroom and peered in curiously. Their mouth fell open as they stared, slack-jawed, at the all too familiar looking, red-haired figure seated at the keyboard. Before they could stop themself, the word- the name- on the tip of their tongue slipped out, shattering the serenity of the moment.
"Arise?"
The word hung in the air, the androgynous sounding voice slightly breathless with disbelief.

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES piano song she's currently playing. | Arise… Arise she hadn’t heard that name being spoken in a long time. The last being… she paused the trail right there and then. Refusing to allow the thought to bring back the images she struggling to seal back into the deepest parts of her mind. Katya’s breath nearly hitched. Heartbeat rapidly rang into her ears before she forced her body to remain calm aside from the minor flinch the girl emitted at the sound of the voice. She swirled to face it, snapping her neck to the direction of the door. Red strands swayed through the physical force before gravity let it stream down her shoulders.
Crimson orbs squinted in the darkness until it touched the figure enshroud it in. Through the shadows she barely managed to make out the face of a feminine looking person looking back at her. Dressed in a one piece animal suit. The girl’s eyebrow arched casually atop her forehead.
Someone…recognized her. Still echoed within her mind as it tried to reel in the possibilities of how or when do people from this part of the world listen to jpop of all things. The reasonable side however made quick to remind her of the power of the media which soon soothe whatever paranoia started creeping up her veins. Only subtle amount of it but still it was better than having a near panic attack at being found out.
Though now… she was somewhat relief at least she had been in her disguised rather than being found out of it. Still it also dawned on her now that a rumor might spread about ‘Arise’ being on this school as well. This was just a huge mess really, whichever angle she looked at it. It still ended as a mess to the young child. “Hmmm?” The red eyed girl reacted, slipping instinctively into her persona. A hand still lingered on the keys before it slipped back to her side as she moved her back to face the person. “Oh crud!” She gasped out. Her hand flew to her chest as she took a deep breath to calm herself. “Didn’t see you there, though it’s not too nice to sneak up on people especially in dark places.” She sent a wink towards the person’s direction as the girl gracefully moved her body out of the piano stool. “Not many wander around here at night especially cute kouhai’s nee?” The girl noted. Layering her voice in a questioning tone. She stayed by the piano, waiting for the boy to actually reply. She figured him for a boy, or a girl because of the choice of clothes.
