God damn you, Wukong...Such was the swift, curse-ridden thought to cross the mind of a particular fourth year as his footsteps gave faint, rhythmic beats throughout the dimmed hallways of the Aurora Academy classroom buildings. Save for the occasional flashes of lightning blaring every so often through the window panes spanned across the well entirety of the structure in general, as well as the occasional light that had been present throughout his minor venture across the general vicinity of the given sector of the campus thus far, the path of the aforementioned senior was ratther dark and dimmed for the most part as he trekked silently through- though not without a sense of subtle and underlying caution and annoyance alike at that particular moment in time. Truth be told, the former was likely completely unnecessary. It wasn't like there were any ghosts or spirits haunting the campus, after all. Totally. ...Or maybe not so totally. The only reason he had been wandering around with such tenseness coursing throughout his being was because of one thing that he was cursed with: his horrible sense of direction. Just a few minutes earlier, his friend had been walking with him since they had agreed to take a nightly trip around the campus to get a feel for the architecture and layout, but true to his nature, he had ditched him- though not without spewing out some rumor about an apparent ghsot that roamed the corridors during the evening hours. The aforementioned friend knew full well that the azure-haired senior maintained a failing skill in navigation, as well as a subtle and often overlooked sense of tension when it came to factors of 'the spook'. It was something that he was often teased for when their group had congealed for a tour or two. He simply made himself feel better by reminding himself that he wasn't in the boat alone, though. A handful of their other friends and members alike were prone to scares, and it just so happened that his ditcher was no exception to that rule whatsoever. ...He just managed to have the upper hand that time around, having left him behind before the same thing could be done to him. So, Hunter Jae-Seok Yoon - or Baekho, depending on who you were and if you knew him from other points and subjects of interest - traveled continuously throughout the night time sectors of the indoor academy. With no flashlight to aid his sight, he simply made the most of the scenario by using the flashlight function of his phone as he held it up and rotated it around the corners and opened classrooms whenever needed. "Gonna kill you once I find my way back to the dorms, man... I swear to God."Another thought rung through his head as he walked along, inducing a sigh to escape his lips seconds afterwards. "...If I find my way back before the sun rises, I guess..."

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | The winds wails echoed within the emptied halls. Darkness that had been absent on the day now reigned through every nook and cranny of the quiet building. During day it was full of life, filled with echoes from the numerous teenagers whom called it a second home. Sounds of their voices were absent only to be replaced with the same silence lingering within quiet graveyards. The chilling silence the dead heed in their eternal slumber. Absent of noise, deprived of life except for the tiny rodents skittering about. Crickets whistled in the long grasses outside. Unheard within the confines of a building that seemingly sucked all manner of sounds from penetrating it's eerie setting. The darkness that covered the halls made good on their silent threat of consuming its surroundings. Details barely registered through the eyes as the man meandered through the shadow infested halls. Quiet hallways where still doors leading to the numerous classrooms lining each side.
Empty, dark... except for the echoes of an encroaching storm. The scene now imitated a page right out of one of those cheesy horror movies teenagers go crazy about. One two... flashes slashed through the noir canvas. Illuminating the empty halls. Followed by a loud clap of thunder following suit. Eerie silence... Another scene ripped out of another horror fic where the plot revolved around a night out within an old school building. Trying to dare the legends lingering within its aged walls. Aurora wasnt any different from those stereotype schools even a school this old has its own legends hiding within its shadows. Particularly a certain music room at the next corridor.
A few more steps the stranger took, just that few more seemed trigger echoes for his footsteps. At the next step something else trigger. If he squeezed his ears together he'd hear it, a faint tune of a piano key. Then another until it formed a haunting somber tune. It started calm at first then melancholy snuck its tendrils along its melody. Piano...to play a piano there has to be a person around... but in the middle of the night? Who would be willing to brave through a pitch black school building just to play the piano. The melody was precise, every move made to ensnare a person's attention. Before a voice followed suit into the tune.
"Yozora ni saku hana ni terasareta Sukoshi otona ni natta yokogao"¨
A feminine voice began, matching onto the somber feel of the song being played. One foretelling a person longing for another to notice yet but never was by the person who it wanted to be notice by. A haunting tune matching the quietness of the halls.
"Hito no koe wo kakikeshite kikoeta no wa mune no oto" The winds carried the soft tune.

Enshrouded within a vague yet apparent degree of ongoing caution, the fourth year simply continued down the hallways of the night time campus, peering curiously and skeptically towards the occasional window and classroom as he passed by them. Azure voids of his would have closed faintly and softly after he had progressed down several hallways and turned a few corners; a sigh leaving his lips in subtle exasperation, annoyance, and defeat alike as he reached what was perhaps the fifth or sixth minute of venturing without finding the main entryway to the building- or even a staircase that would lead to the next floor above. A murmur escaped his lips as he walked ever more, though at a strike of lightning and the thunder to accompany it, he brought himself to an abrupt stop in stride as a faint melody caught his attention from a distance. The suddenness of it truthfully made him jump. On instinct, a dual pair of his signature albino tiger ears even sprouted upon his head alongside a matching tail; something that commonly happened whenever he grew shocked or emotional enough. His newfound ears swiveled slightly as if judging where exactly where the sound - a piano, if he was correct - had come from, and his eyes remained secure upon the very direction that it had slipped from down the hallway. Gritting his teeth in thought and debate, he narrowed his eyes while slowly choosing to walk towards where the source seemed to be. Soon after doing so, he caught wind of the lyrics, recognizing them to be Japanese. It was a given that he would at least recognize the language and even understand it, given the nature of his career. However, he very fact that it was an Asian song in general imbued a sinking feeling within him, due to how - despite how the melody was actually rather nice, as well as how the voice at hand actually sounded oddly and distantly familiar to him - songs and general 'scary' stories from the Asian culture tended to be a bit more on the frightening side in comparison to others. He made the mistake of giving a thought to one of the countless legends he had heard and shuddered because of it. The shudder and realization made him slow down, though either way, he found himself nearing the doorway that the sounds seemed to be coming from. Stopping right outside while still within the sanctity of the hallway, he inhaled deeply before reaching over and knocking the outer edge of the doorframe. "...Anyone there?" he asked hesitantly, not daring to peer in quite yet. Katya Kanazaki

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | Music to love music to hate. An ongoing battle continued to raged within the child’s own inner world. Conflicting thoughts, powered by a reason to dump a blame into something conveniently close and was painfully connected to the shadows lingering behind her. Life… she was already aware most of hers were riddled with lies. Some she created some others made for her. She lived her life in one big fat lie… She tried lying to herself about her hatred for the one thing she shared with her aunt and sister. Music was both her blessing and curse, it led to her life being manipulated by her own mother to further her own objectives. It led into something she couldn’t say she enjoyed anymore.
Nor everything it brought was bad though, she reasoned. More to her own nerves than to her own beliefs. Fingers graced against the keys, feeling the comforting chill the sound brought to her. It was the balm she needed right now. Even as the weather outside shifted towards a storm she honestly didn’t bother to take heed of the weather turning dark. She was inside, that was all that counted right? She expected fog—
A loud call rang outside in the hall. Freezing her fingers mid tune towards the final half of the composition she played. They froze as if stilled by time as her heart followed after by trying to leap out of her throat. She hadn’t noticed how she jumped a few inches out of the piano stool or how she nearly rammed her knees into the piano itself that actually hurt. She cringed, rubbing the budding bruise she was sure to find on her skin. Ruby orbs twirled to face the darkness, shadows encroaching on the long door leading outside where she saw a passing shadow walk by. She nearly gulped, fear fought with common sense. Katya had half the mind to dive into the awaiting instrument closet but she didn’t. She stood still on the same spot, holding her breath until she heard someone call again. There was a slight tremor within the person’s voice whom she can safely say was male due to the depth of it. But why it sounded familiar she chuck it off as someone she probably heard out the in corridors during class times. She waited a few more minutes, now managing to collect herself as her body instinctively slid into the shadows. Inching towards that closet. She didn’t dare reply, she didn’t call back out to verify the man’s own assumption of another person being here. Last she checked it was way past curfew. She wasn’t stupid enough to allow herself the chance of being caught even if… being alone in a dark building more than tickled her own nerves into paranoia. She gulped, sending a small curse towards Ty for fostering the fear of ghost in her.

No response at first. Hunter closed his eyes, cursing softly under his breath within a subtly stressed fashion. Of course... he thought to himself, shaking his head. A reluctant, gloved hand of his lifted soon after that initial thought had crossed the bounds of his intellect, rubbing his face before going on to pinch the bridge of his nose and rub his eyes. No idea why I was expecting an answer... Talk do the possible ghosts, why don't you...? That's exactly what some idiot in a horror movie gets killed, man. Get your shit together...Lowering his hand and sliding it down his face by the end of that most recent, pondering remark within his mind, the fourth year simply stared directly down upon the darkened floors beneath his feet, murmuring some foreign-tongued curse under his breath while closing his eyes- though was quick to open them once more as he jolted at the sudden boom of thunder that abruptly echoed throughout the hallways. With widened eyes of azure, he glanced around swiftly and frantically before fully realizing what had just happened, and to that revelation, he heaved yet another, defeated, and tired sigh to himself, muttering a soft and quick, "Goddammit..." under his breath as he finally found the will and internal courage to finally step out from around the corner of the door frame. At first, he peered through the darkness within a curiously cautious manner, catching sight of the piano as its glazed wood glistened against the dimmed lights, though hadn't quite noticed anything more aside from that at that particular moment while he began to walk further towards the center of the room. "Hello...? Yeongi nugu issni...? Is anyone there?" he initially called out again, stopping after several paces' worth of distance as he peered around through the shadows; his vision thankfully amplified beneath the shade as a result of the tiger's influence within him, though not quite managing to spot the figure within the shadows just yet by sole virtue of not facing through her general direction. Still facing the piano and bringing his gaze upon it, he peered across its keys. "Uh...u-unless I'm, like...hearing things or whatever, you have a beautiful voice, for what it's worth," he continued on. A few moments of silence and pondering would follow his words as he found himself drawn closer towards the grand piano, slowly walking over towards it and sitting down in front of it. His eyes scanned its keys from a lesser distance before he looked up and glanced around the walls once more. "Uh...for what it's worth, whoever you are-... ...You actually have a beautiful voice... It kinda sounds familiar in some way, but...I mean, it still sounds beautiful."Glancing down at the keys for yet another time, he gave a small murmur under his breath while drawing his fingers gingerly upon their surfaces, absentmindedly beginning to tap along them within a melodious manner and in tune to one of many songs that he had memorized within the days of the past, peering out from the corner of his eye. "Or...maybe it's just me hearing things..." he murmured aloud, though to no one in particular as he began playing. An awkward and slightly stiff chuckle slipped from his lips, which then progressed into a slightly stressed sigh. "...Haha...I...actually wouldn't be surprised if that were the case..."Katya Kanazaki
