AND WE'LL NEVER STOP 'CAUSE WE'RE ONLY GETTING BETTER --- ALIVE AGAIN, ANOTHER DAY, I'M NOT AFRAID TO GET OVER --- |
[attr="class","boneshatter3"]With the summer approaching and the school year coming to a close, Myeong thought that this would be the best time to be honing her elixir-making abilities. This was a school of gifted children - a school of which there were many with powers and god knows what abilities they may hold. It was no wonder that the school thought that it would be in humanity's best interest to house these teenagers with supernatural occurrences happening throughout their body so that they would be able to teach them to control these.. Dangerous hazards. Dangerous, more lethal than not and this wasn't very much appreciated in the purplette's wholehearted opinion. However when she were to refer to danger, she would say that it's much more lethal towards her. The bandages littering her dorm room's floors, her arms and legs, and the spilt oils that stretched from the carpets on occasions was a result of said threats.
Purple hues glanced outwards from her dorm's room and into the hallways, praying that there was not a soul that roamed the corridors. Just the other day, Myeong had gone out to grab a couple of herbs and medications that the head nurse had asked of her, and just the other day she forgot to turn them in. Just great, right? Yeah.. Forgetful little Myeong, you had to remember to do your job. But of course, her priority was to get down the halls and roam the courtyard quick enough to get to the office without fear of being called out, barraged with the verbal out lashes from the other students.. Or worse. B-But it's okay.. Right? There was no one out there.. Asides from the crowds of girls giggling as they walked down-- They were laughing at her, weren't they? Even if they couldn't see the petite second year, she knew that they were laughing at her. The thought alone was enough to have her fist clutch up into a ball in frustration. N-no.. She had to bite her tongue. If she didn't, then they were going to call her out, say that she was weird and then proceed to bash her down with other insults. That's what they all did, so why would that group be any different?
Deep breaths, Myeong. It's okay, there's no one outside. Her grip on her bag only tightens, and the purplette took off her back foot after closing and locking her dorm room - tight this time - and dashing off past the group of girls before they could catch her face. Even if they couldn't catch her face, the uneven cuts in her hair from previous bullying was just a distinguishing factor of her appearance. One of the girls had a smile on her face, and glance to Myeong. She was about to call out for her, but the second year had already left the dorm in sheer fear. Her arms were wrapped around and clutching onto the dark green bag of hers - worn out and old because she quite literally came to the academy in nothing but rags. But the bag was useful, and she hadn't the money to get a new one. Even if she did.. The odds are that someone would grab it and rip it up anyways.. It would have been a waste of good money.
Her bandaged legs carried her through the courtyard.. And it hurt. Each step she took, each stride was nearly painful. Yet she had to keep running, because god knows what type of torture she would be condemned to if she were to stop. It wasn't long before she finally arrived at the nurse's office, and now she could release a soft sigh of relief. It was honestly exhausting, if she wanted to be completely honest; having to run out and pray that no one spots her. If they did, then she would surely be poked fun at, and people would certainly tease her, call her names and etc.. Maybe she really was just an eyesore. Hell, Myeong wasn't even sure if the nurse liked her at all. For all she knew, the kindly woman could have been putting on a ruse all this time, and the next thing she knew the nurse herself could just leave her stranded in a ditch. Goodness, the thought terrified her..
With the shake of her head, the purplette student glanced upwards at the cabinet that was towering overhead. It was.. Way too tall for her. Was there a chair anywhere-- Ah, there we go! Surely, the nurse would understand that she needed to reach the top cabinet.. Right? Yes, yes of course. All she had to do was be careful.. Y-Yeah.. She just had to be careful. That thought in mind, the second year grabbed the wheeled chair and heaved it over, green worn out bag in her other arm. Cautiously, she took off her shoes and stopped up on the cushion of the chair to open up the cabinet's door. Her hand were shaking, yes, because she didn't know when or if she would fall. "I. I-I just have to be careful.. Careful.." She continued to remind herself, up while she was holding a few chemicals in her hands that were to be stashed up on the shelves.
She was about to stand back up and place just a few of the last ointments in the storage, however she felt her feet's position suddenly shifting in a.. Less than desirable position. The top of the chair was beginning to spin, and her eyes whipped down to anticipate this soon to be mess. She's going wot fall, but all she could do was anticipate the pain that followed along with it. "Yeep!"
