I’m Still Breathing,
It wasn’t unlike Hinan, there were all the same groups of people in the same cliques and with the same staring eyes that loved to judge and cast out the unwanted. In Artemis’s case, she was the new kid on the block and so easily dismissed because no one really knew her. Unlike at her old school where she had be dubbed the ‘badass’ and was well known for it, the school yearbook a testament to that. Granted it wasn’t unfounded as it seemed fights would find her more often that she even started any. To be honest, she never started any but it always seemed she was getting into them. Sighing at the thought she cast her green orbs away from a pack of giggling girls to find a table where she could eat lunch by herself.
It wasn’t like she didn’t want to at least try to be someone’s friend it was just that she didn’t want to have to go through the effort again only to lose them in the end. So Artemis had decided that she had no intentions of every getting close to anyone at this school, thus all her focus was on getting good grades and being able to support herself once she left school. She was still keen on finding her brother, she couldn’t do it before for it would be putting him in danger but maybe enough time would have passed now? Though she couldn’t dismiss that her simply being the type of meta she was, was enough to put him in danger. This made her frown because her biggest fear was that she could never be with him because of that. Dismissing the thought, not wanting to dwell and feel like some emo kid she found a table near the roof’s edge and was thankful it was one of those tables no one really liked to sit on. It must have been because it was rather close to the edge and even with the fence around it still looked intimidatingly high. For Artemis though, it was just a good view of a place she wasn’t so familiar with.
Reaching into her bag she pulled out a homemade lunch, she always preferred to cook for herself thus was rather pleased to find that the room she moved into here at a kitchenette. Today she made herself sushi, teriyaki chicken, seaweed salad and miso soup. She smiled when she opened her bento box to find all the contents gleaming up at her, enticing her to just dig in there and fill her grumbling tummy. Honestly, the girl couldn’t help but smile and comply by picking up her chopsticks ready for the first bite.

Aquarius sighed as he opened the door to the roof he saw a girl just sitting there he sighed hopefully she wouldn't snitch on him. He then sat down at the same table the girl was at, and decided to open his mouth he usually wouldn't be the first to talk but he had to ask her if she was ok with him smoking. "Hey are ya' okay with me smoking" he asked with his southern North American accent? He pulled out a cigarette he hung it from his lips but didn't light it yet he didn't want to be rude to the female in front of him. He then saw what she was eating, he looked at the food he rubbed his chin. "Lets see here Teriyaki Chicken, salad...seaweed salad I think, annnd Miso Soup" the young man said to himself aloud while looking at the females lunch, it was as if his inner cook had come out.
