POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Cryokinesis---
Despite the fact that he hadn’t had formal and higher-tier training for his powers, Hunter is actually pretty well-versed in both of his powers- with this power in particular being the more powerful of the two that he has current control over. Like any other Cryokinetic, he’s experienced enough to be able to both produce and manipulate ice freely at his will, with his general energy decreasing according to the amount of time that he uses it for, as well as the size and detail of the objects that he chooses to forge at a given time, if any. Of course, the normal usage of his Cryokinesis would involve simple blasts and pulses of ice to be expelled from his body or his hands if need be, though as a result of manipulation, he’s capable of forging and maintaining solid and inanimate objects in the shape of things like swords and bats if need be, though wouldn’t be able to create anything animate and living like an iced replica of an animal, or perhaps even a gun, due to how it requires several smaller mechanisms to work altogether, so firing ice bullets from an ice-composed rifle or handgun would be out of the question for him. It should be known, however, that because of the fragile nature of ice to begin with, most of his creations and formations would be likewise and equally as fragile unless he were to focus on its solidity and composure, which would expend his energy at a slightly higher and faster rate due to the effort he would have to express in order to keep the object in question from remaining pieced together, rather than shattering.
His current power skill is really due to how, rather than being encouraged to hide his powers upon uncovering them, he and a few other of his group members were actually urged to grow accustomed to their abilities in order to incorporate them into dance routines and performances that could be unique to their group alone for sake of leaving a vibrant and lasting impression within the minds of their viewers and followers. As a result, he often trained his powers alongside a friend and fellow group member of his upon seeing that he, too, had powers of his own. During shows, his Cryokinesis was normally used to exhibit chills and real-time special effects during dances and shows, but he took care to hone it according to his own style and uses in his free time, as well.
Animal Shifting---
Although his Animal Shifting abilities aren’t quite as adjusted and refined as his Cryokinesis capabilities, Jae-Seok is more than capable of transforming into his respective animal: the tiger, or more specifically, the Albino Tiger. While he’s fully capable of shifting into the form of an adult and full-grown tiger, he’s grown accustomed and well known for assuming the form of a smaller cub as a form of ‘advertising’ and interesting more viewers in Zodiac upon his manager’s insistence. Often times, he’d stage in a few commercials with a few other members that happened to have the same power according to their own zodiac roles, and this is actually why he inherited the Korean name for the tiger of the four celestial beasts, Baekho, as his stage name instead of a simple word or name that related to the general tiger.
Often times, he chooses to walk around with tiger ears and a tail when walking around the campus, and when they’re not openly visible, they’ve been known to spontaneous ‘poof’ into clear view whenever he’s stressed in some way, shape, or form against his will.

APPEARANCE
Having been properly brought up during his teenage years as a member of the performance industry in South Korea, it’s safe to say that Hunter Jae-Seok Yoon is very capable of maintaining a clean and presentable appearance, and could even be described as the type who would take the utmost care in his own appearance whenever possible. Standing at a height of six foot two and weighing in at approximately one hundred and eighty-one pounds on average, he maintains a tall and toned body figure, sculpted subtly and firmly by his lifetime’s involvement within dancing. His current skin tone is more or less on the tanned portion of the spectrum as a result of the amount of time that he tends to spend outdoors nowadays, which only seems to emphasize the brightened hues of both his hair and his eyes alike. His hair is short-cut and kept rather fluffy and soft to the touch with the use of several hair products - things that he had really only gotten into the habit of using through his years in the idol-oriented business - though is naturally a dark brown; seemingly black unless lightings are cast upon his head at specific angles. The color of his eyes, however, are entirely natural, and he personally feels that he inherited them from his mother, regardless of how the rules of genetics actually work.
Appropriating to both his personal tastes and the general clothing types that he had been influenced by somewhat earlier in his life, Hunter’s common clothing style could best be described as semi-casual. Upon the upper body, he is known to sport a simple, white, and collared button-up dress shirt as a first layer, with a neatly-formed tie fixed and tucked neatly beneath its collar, and the tie itself commonly being seen as a simple black, though maintains a seemingly equal chance of being dark red, as well. Over this first layer would normally be a collared zip-up hoodie of primarily a crimson hue, though the collar and hooded portions of the jacket would be black, and would also have various black linings, as well. He normally keeps this jacket of his opened, though it could either be part way zipped or fully zipped depending on the weather. As far as the lower body goes, he commonly sports a pair of simple, blue jeans that are a little bit on the darker and faded side. The bottom cuffs of either leg of his pants would be tucked beneath a pair of shin-high boots; each of leather material and a black coloring alike.
For both fashion’s sake and due to his personal tendencies alike, he’s been known to wear a black face mask at times, which could also even be replaced by a bandana from time to time, as well. Should the weather be a tad on the chillier side, then his favorite tie would also instead be replaced by his favorite scarf, which is strictly of a slightly lighter and faded hue of red. He may also gain another inner layer, though it would be beneath both his jacket and his collared shirt alike, with the only traces of it being the layering of his sleeves around his wrists. Likewise, if the weather is much warmer, then he’ll likely lose his favorite jacket and exchange it with his favorite vest hoodie - which is a matching hue of crimson - and either change into the sleeveless variations of his collared shirt, or negate it and skip straight to a comfortable tank top, instead.

PERSONALITY
When the bottom line is reached, one main thing can be easily seen and known about Hunter: he’s a generally nice and caring person for the most part. As a result of being trained within show business and being given a sort of vague stage persona after he moved to South Korea to pursue a career as an idol, he’s learned to be a rather easygoing and social type of person. While the particular ‘character’ that he plays within the idol group that he’s in - Zodiac - is somewhat of the calm and sly type, he himself really often holds less of the latter for the most part and more of the former during common encounters, alongside other positive qualities that include an open mindedness, understanding, and casual care, among a few other factors that could be taken into account. Very much the type to greet new acquaintances with a smile and a leisurely remark or two in greeting, he truthfully is simply one that looks for a good time while trying his best to have a positive and optimistic few and thought process. Compared to his best friend and fellow Zodiac member - Liu Fang Li, otherwise known by his own stage name, ‘Wukong’ - he tends addressed and seen as the tamer and calmer one between the duo.
In many instances, onlookers would expect people of Hunter’s general personality, appearance, and behavior to be indifferent towards social activities due to the aura of calmness that they hold about them, though in his case in particular, the exact opposite would be applied. Being the child of former Broadway-oriented employees, as well as one of hundreds of products in the Korean music industry, he has adjusted and grown accustomed to the spotlight- and actually strongly enjoys it, nonetheless. Things like interviews and that sort were common to him during the peak of his activities in Korea, making simpler things like class presentations rather easy and even enjoyable for him. The same thing can be applied towards minor activities like taking pictures. While he can’t do it nearly as often as a result of discovering his powers and relocating to Silver Falls, the truth of the matter is that Hunter is extremely photogenic. During his ongoing activity within Zodiac, one of his favorite contributions to his career would have definitely been the photo shoots that were hosted, regardless if they were for him as an individual, for him and a partner, or even a group photo shoot for the entirety of Zodiac. Although he does know a stalker from a simple onlooker, taking pictures and striking a sudden, yet subtle pose for a camera two has been known to be his weakness, and is often teased about it by his fellow group members.
In addition to his more noticeable and surface qualities would be the underlying, of course. Among said qualities would be three major things to know about him: he has a mild fear of blood and germs, and also has a subtle case of obsessive compulsive disorder. Due to reasons that will be explained later on within his history, these three things are major points that people are bound to notice and remember about him. He’s comfortable with seeing bruises and small amounts of blood from paper cuts and smaller wounds, but if he were to see someone with a larger, opened wound, or even an overly gore-heavy scene from a movie if it were well done and realistic enough, he would likely begin to fidget and grow immensely uncomfortable. His fear for germs is slightly connected to this, and makes him keen for keeping his work spaces and living quarters especially tidy. When he isn’t creating music or dabbling in any of his other assignments and hobbies, he can actually often be found cleaning; regardless of if the scene at hand is his own property, or another’s. His absentminded need to clean also ties in with his OCD and motivates him to keep things orderly and organized at all and any times. If one were to see his closet, they would see his shirts separated by color and sleeve length, and his lower body wear organized by color and whether they’re shorts or pants alike- and even then, the pants would be divided into more specific categories by their fabric types. He’s aware of this, and tends to accidentally begin organizing the objects of both friends and new acquaintances alike, though is known to quickly stop and apologize in the event that he does so with the latter.

BIOGRAPHY
Annyong haseyo~. Mannaseo bangapseumida~.
Haha, yup. Nice to meet you all. My name is Hunter Jae-Seok Yoon, but a lot of other people know me better as Baekho of the idol group, Zodiac. As could be guessed, Zodiac is composed of twelve members, and all; each member representing one animal of the Chinese Zodiac. You guys are gonna meet the guy who’s the monkey after we’re done here, I think. His stage name is Wukong since that’s his animal, and mine is Baekho, since I’m the tiger, and all. Ten other members, and we’re all led by the dragon, Ryuki. Stage name, of course. His is Japanese since he also leads the Japanese sub division of the group. Mine is Korean since I’m obviously Korean, aaand since I lead the Korean subdivision...aaand, as could be guessed, Wukong leads the Chinese subdivision. We all do most of our tours together, though.
We’re a fun group with a passion for what we do. Please give us a listen sometime~.
...And don’t mind my shameless advertising, by the way. It’s for our group’s benefit, I swear.
Haha, fine, fine~. About me, now, right? That’s what we’re here for, anyways- and plus, you can search Zodiac up any time you want.
...But yeah. Again, my name is Hunter Jae-Seok Yoon. I’m a Korean American, which explains my American first name, and all. I was born on February 25th in New York to my mom and dad - Annisette Michaels-Yoon and Dae-Ho Yoon respectively - who were actually both vocal coaches and choreographers at the time, so I was actually pretty much born into show business from the get-go. They were associated with Broadway acts and stuff since they took on a lot of jobs for choreographing musicals and that stuff, and they wanted me to follow in their footsteps while living vicariously through me at the same time since neither of them had actually made a role in some at least semi-major play or musical or something like that in the past. Mom became my vocal coach, and even made me start my own Youtube channel when I was younger to gauge my progress. Said that if people found me out and started keeping up with me, I was doing things right, which...even though it did happen after some time, her logic was a lot easier said than done. On the other hand, though...Dad trained me in dance at the same time. Mainly contemporary and ballet and stuff like that, but I liked it enough to keep up with it and pick up hip hop by myself, too. I had a lot of friends since I seemed to have a natural talent for those two things. Lots of people liked me. Even more envied me and attacked me for being born into the ‘perfect’ and ‘successful’ life that they all wished they had. To have parents involved with Broadway, and to have a knack for singing, acting, and dancing alike… You’d think that I’d have my life and career set for me, huh? That I had everything in the world while basically always being on cloud nine?
...Heh. If only if it were that simple, right? Don’t get me wrong, though. I’m really thankful or the fact that I was taught to sing and dance and whatnot since it led me to a career that’s really fun - even if it’s tiring and really time consuming - but you have no idea how bothered I get when people say stuff like that, especially since they don’t even know the half of it. I can laugh about it now with no problems at all, but what almost everyone sees and thinks about me is just scratching the surface. It was a lot more complicated than that, but, like-...
...Agh… ...Hana...dul...set…
...Yasat...yodul…
...And we’re back. Sorry. I’m laid back with a lot of things, but...stuff like that is my pet peeve. Y’know. Assuming the bigger picture like you know everything when you actually don’t know the first important thing to know. Especially and specifically since it happened to me a lot, and all.
But yeah. See...everyone always thought that I was the perfect kid. I was both appreciative and annoyed by it at the same time, but...the honest truth of it all was that my life wasn’t as easygoing as they all thought it was, and when I told the people that I thought were my closest friends, there was a fifty-fifty chance that they just accused me for ‘wanting even more attention’ before spreading rumors and ditching me for some other crowd. In reality, my parents were extremely strict- and to the point where abuse was a pretty common thing. To maintain good appearances and whatnot with their employers and fellow co workers, they never actually made this apparent until a lot more time had passed, but they always condemned me whenever I made the smallest mistake during practices. It didn’t matter if it was during Mom’s vocal training, or Dad’s dance lessons. If I made the tiniest error - even if it was on pure accident - the response I got was normally something along the lines of a scream session and a punch or two. ...And that was if I made a small fumble over myself.
That being said, I’m pretty sure you can assume what I went through if I had a bad day, or just wasn’t feeling it during practice with them.
Here’s the kicker, though. Take what you’re imagining and amplify it by, like...I dunno, three or four times as much as a base?
If you do that, then you have the real deal.
Sad thing is I’m not even kidding, you know. Because of the amount of mistakes I made out of inexperience and fear at the time, I at least got a punch or two every day. And you know those really twisted and deadbeat kinda parents that you see in crime detective and mystery shows that’re totally the types to beat the crap outta their kids - doesn’t matter if it’s out of stress or because they just feel like it - and lock ‘em in the basements? I discovered the hard way that my parents weren’t afraid to be those types of people. This is normally where people stop believing me and tell me I’m just saying bullshit whenever I tell them about my upbringing, by the way. You can think that if you want, too, but I’m telling you. This all actually happened. Cross my heart and swear to die.
Anyways, though...I took a lot of visits and stays in our own basement because of that. Most of the time, they didn’t beat me that much so they could still force me to dance and practice and stuff, but during the times that they did, they made it so that I wouldn’t be able to get up for a long while. That was around the time that I started realizing my hemophobia. Turns out that kids apparently don’t like being beaten enough to the point where they can literally see their own blood staining the floor and walls before they curl up in the corner and cry themselves to sleep for the night. Especially if the next day, they’re woken up by round whatever out of whatever of kickass mania, left a plate or two of food, then left to cry themselves to sleep again until a few hours later. Sad thing is that I actually got used to it because I had to. A lot of the time, I was beaten to the point where it hurt to lift my arms and turn my head, but I had to suffer through it and just suck it up almost all the time and get back into the swing of things since I would’ve gotten another knuckle sandwich if I didn’t. Every single time that happened and I finally left the basement for the meantime, they always gave me curt orders to wash up and cover up that way their own jobs wouldn’t be at risk. If I had to say for myself, I was one Hell of a trooper as a kid because of all that, but...yeah. Still doesn’t change how much it hurt.
The amount of time and effort they spent into drilling the cleanup, bathing, and even makeup routines into my head kinda left an impression on me, and I guess tied into my OCD and mysophobia alike. Whenever I got out, I was honestly crusty to Hell and back from all the dried blood. I actually got a lot of infections from all the open wounds I had, too, so I got into a quick and admittedly big habit of scrubbing myself down and keeping everything that I owned really clean to make up for how dirty I always was because of them. As I got a little bit older, it actually became somewhat of a coping mechanism and stress relief when they lashed out in a way that it was bad, but, like...not bad enough to give me basement status. A lot of the time, I spent my time cooling off with an ironically warm shower, cleaning myself off, and then going on to clean and tidy up my room, which also led into my habit of just organizing everything. I was bored and had a lot of stress to burn, so while I kept a close eye on my stuff and brushed all the dust and grime I saw on them the second I did, I also made it an absentminded happen to start organizing everything by whatever thing I could think of. Color. Fabric. Clothing type. Stuff like that.
Thankfully enough, though...time went on. I lost friends. Gained friends. Kept some friends and managed to keep in contact in them when I wasn’t dysfunctional enough to be kept in the basement. The beatings continued, of course, but one day I finally got off the hook. Broadway people are good at acting and applying makeup and all that stuff, but one of their co workers finally but barely noticed something going on between me and them. I remember it pretty clearly, too. It was during a workshop that they signed me up for since they were two of the few other instructors for it. Long story short, I said something, Mom and Dad gave me, like...this lowkey condemning look since they disapproved or something, and a couple of the other guys we were talking with noticed even though they were admittedly careful and vague about how they went about it. Lucky for me, I got pulled away all casually and stuff so that they could insult me after the conversation was done, but the guys that noticed everything followed after us and managed to get a glimpse of Dad dragging me around a little bit as Mom just gave me a disapproving stare from the sidelines. They got confronted, and from there, it just escalated. They got interrogated by the other Broadway people, the police were involved...they got interrogated again by the police, aaaand then stuff went on. Yada yada yada, search warrant, yada yada yada, they found the basement and the blood, yada yada yada...they got arrested.
After they were out of the picture and all, I finally got treated. Spent a fair amount of time at the hospital to get patched up, and it was during my stay there that I formally got introduced to my hemophobia, mysophobia, and OCD all at different points in time and interactions with the fellow doctors and nurses that took care of me. Since they’re not things that you can just magically and gradually cure with medicine, they just recommended me to a therapist once I was well enough to move around. She helped me a little bit, but for the most part, I just stayed reclused and honestly just coped and recovered on my own since I was pretty stubborn about everything.
Around that same time, though, some scouting agents from a couple music companies in South Korea came back to see me. I say ‘came back’ since they tried to contact me in the past, by the way. Remember that Youtube channel I told you about? That one that Mom had me set up? I uploaded both song covers and dance covers and original choreographies on it, and they were all apparently so well received that they caught the eyes of idol recruiters and whatnot. At the time, they couldn’t really get to me since my parents were in the way to reject each and every one of them so I could continue the theatre and musical-oriented career path that they put me on, but they were quick to revisit me once they found everything out. I talked with a few of them when the doctors let me see visitors and that stuff. Talked about contracts, offers...things that honestly did interest me, which was how I became an eventual part of Zodiac in the long run. They made me a few offers. Offered to pay for my lodgings and travel tickets to South Korea in exchange for attending school there and signing up as a trainee. Since I really had nowhere to go and nothing to lose when I was discharged from the hospital, I decided to accept their offer, and was flown over by the time I was twelve or so.
They stayed true to their word, technically speaking. A few days after arriving, I was walked and talked through what I’d be doing, and was also introduced to the other members that would eventually make up the rest of Zodiac and its sub divisions a few years later. We didn’t know it at the time, but a few of the other members actually had their own powers, too, but they were all pretty much dormant since Wukong had no idea that he had power negation at the time. Every so often, one of us would have some kinda spark of our own powers, but it wouldn’t even budge when we grouped together to see since hie negation kinda rubbed off on everyone once we got closer. I noticed it and even fiddled around with it when I was alone, but I didn’t really say much about it and focused on studying and training for a little while. Two years passed and I turned fourteen, and we finally noticed our powers altogether for the first time during a dance practice once everyone got accustomed to their respective things, aaand when Wukong’s negation thing started fluctuating a bit more to open more time for us to fiddle around with it. Midway into our little power exhibition in the dance room, our manager walked in and saw everything. He was shocked to say the least, but he was actually a bit interested since there had been rumors floating around here and there about people who had been lucky enough to gain their powers. Other people would’ve been freaked out and borderline scared about it. He probably was, too, but his curiosity ended up overriding it, aaaand because of that, we actually ended up incorporating our powers and stuff into our official debut. We adjusted the choreographies to our first songs to accommodate for everyone who had a power since he said that the attention would draw more viewers and potential fans to keep up with us.
...Heh. And much to my personal surprise, he was right.
It was definitely a first; that’s for sure. No one had ever done anything like that before, but our debut was a hit because of our power display. Wukong still doesn’t really have his power negation under control for the most part, but when he isn’t focusing everything he has into it, it normally automatically kicks into overdrive when he’s being really in active in something, so he trained it enough to at least prevent that from happening during our shows that way everything would go according to plan. It was a hit, and we each showed our unique, power-oriented talents during our tours. It became the thing that we were specifically known for since we were the first to do it, and since the other debuting groups couldn’t really do that themselves.
Along the lines, though, there were even more scouting agents that came to see us; specifically from your academy, actually. Around the time I was sixteen, they came around for the first time to try and offer us a place at the academy. It was a more toned down version of my parents and the idol scouters by then, honestly. At first, they rejected everything since our start was really good, and they didn’t want us to lose our fire as we started dishing out more songs. Once we secured our places on the charts and they came back annually, our manager finally gave it a bit more consideration and allowed a couple of us to split our attention to go study. Like it was when he decided to incorporate our powers into our dances and performances, his mindset was that, if we sent a couple of our members to study at Aurora Academy, word of the group would spread, and we’d get more international attention and support alike. Really an amusing and funny thing, but something we could all laugh about since he was just that kinda guy. All he really wants to do is see us succeed.
Aaaand as a result of his agreement to let a couple of us branch off...here I am, and...Wukong’s somewhere. Probably waiting for his own interview, or...whatever you wanna call this.
Regardless, though...I’m here now. Thankfully turned my life around once with the help of some others, and I’m hoping to have a more or less good time now that I’m here, too.
Needless to say, I’m glad to be here.
Please treat me well~. Haha.

Haha.
