Shiranai Huzaki was wandering the streets of Silver Falls, the late afternoon sun beating down softly upon her as her often overenthusiastic sister continued to cheerily hype up their weekend plans, talking of amusement parks and rollercoasters and not at all acknowledging the possibility that the heterchromatic girl could probably be landed with a contract anytime with the week before that had any chance of happening.

Oh Yukia, Shira thought solemnly, You never change do you? There was a hint of bittersweet happiness in that thought. Yukia had always been this way. So blissfully cheerful and almost naive, which was rather rare considering she came from the largest family of assassins in the world. The younger Huzaki sister was currently being taught all about her powers at the specialized academy the family had set up at the Palace in the Himalayan Mountains. From what Shira had seen of it at the opening ceremony- an event she had to attend as the Matriarch of the clan- it was rather high-tech. A lot of funds had gone into it, and shortly after Shira had reclaimed the mansion she had lived in as a student at Aurora Academy here in Silver Falls, where she was now living.

It was good to get out the Palace. Good to stay out too. Being surrounded by her family had begun to wear on the woman, and she was very, very thankful for the ability to do as she pleased within the walls of her home. She was dressed rather professionally today, a white suit with a black tie and red undershirt. Her Empiric Twins, Shingi and Giri, were strapped on one hip, one blade atop the other, and she felt the cold steel of the several shorter blades she had on her form. Two daggers in her left sleeve, a shortsword up her right, two other short katanas strapped in an X on her lower back, and a pair of pistols on either of her calves.

She may be the CEO of a company, but she was also an assassin. One could never be too prepared when they killed for a living. She'd grown used to having so many weapons on her person at one time, and had been taught where to conceal certain armaments so that they were not easily spotted by onlookers who glanced or even heavily inspected her. Her nails were even weapons, sharpened on the edges but not to a point, so that they could rend flesh but were still curved enough that she wouldn't arouse suspicion.

It was amazing what a sharpening stone could do when it was used to file nails.

The conversation with her sister went on for a few more minutes before Yukia announced that she should be heading to bed. Shira agreed and the call was ended, the adult in the situation putting her phone into her pocket a moment before catching eyes with some other individual wandering down the lonely street. He appeared to be a student at the school, judging from his demeanor and apparent age. He definitely wasn't older than her, though it wouldn't surprise her if her was younger than she expected. She analyzed him with a glance, her eyes flitting across his form before she decided he was neither a threat nor anything for her to be remotely interested in.

Though he apparently didn't seem to appreciate the analysis and ensuing, disinterestedly amused look she had given him upon that deduction.
