APPEARANCE

Akira is 5'6" tall and weighs 128 pounds or so. His hair is darker brown and kind of frames his face. His eyes are as almost sapphire blue, and always expressing some kind of feeling. His skin is a normal kind of tone, but he tends to be a little darker in the summer and a little lighter in the winter. He has many scars from the treatment he's received growing up. At the moment he is only allowed to wear a rather overly large, dirty, stained white shirt that stretches down to his thighs, and that's really about it.

He wears clothing that he finds comfortable, but usually is in a hoodie. He always is wearing darker colored clothes and maybe a necklace and wristbands. He wears almost skater, or scene, type clothing, but honestly that's just what's comfortable for him. He won't dress up unless he's forced to.

PERSONALITY

As far as abused children go, Akira is really the sweetest person anyone could possibly have asked to associate with. He is kind and gentle, and finds such excitement in the world. He is incredibly optimistic and sees everything in such a bright and unique way. He is truly loving, and very loyal, however, he is incredibly shy and socially awkward. He is not entirely trusting of people, but no one can really blame him for that. He is very much stuck to Luka's side, and refuses to be alone with anyone. Luka always has to be with him. All things said,
Akira does have episodes of depression, worthlessness, and lashes out sometimes. He also has severe PTSD and the most random things can set him off. He is also utterly terrified of the dark, and always has a flashlight with him.

But deep inside of him lays a secondary personality. Kyou. (Kyou has his own bio since he is important, so not a lot of detail will go here.) Kyou was created by Akira's poor fracturing mind when he was rather young. He takes all of Akira's negative emotions and feeds off of them to strengthen himself. He is very unstable, and very very powerful. Probably best to not get on his bad side.

BIOGRAPHY

Akira was brought into this world through an affair Luka's father had with another woman while away on business. The woman died in childbirth, leaving Marcus to raise the boy. He had debated giving him up for adoption, but the damage to his family had already been done. So he kept the boy, deciding that he could be useful, after all, his eldest son was really sick, and he had a lot of new drugs to test and develop.

And so, Akira's life began as it remained for many years, in the dark, being tested on and forced to undergo some rather horrible drug treatments with some very bad side effects.

Shortly after he turned seven, a little bit of light came through. His name was Luka. And he was the best thing that Akira could ever have wished for. For nearly two years, Luka spent nearly every day with him, teaching him how to read and write, bringing him all sorts of goodies, and making sure he was at least somewhat care for. Akira wanted nothing more than to spend every minute with his brother. But one day, Luka stopped coming. He hadn't dared to ask his father about it, just put up with the abuse like he usually did. But still, abandonment and hatred began to form something dark and twisted in the boy.

Just before his tenth birthday, Luka returned. At first he figured it was just some sort of hallucination, as he had been suffering from them a lot recently. But nope. His brother really was a cat. Luka explained that his parents found out about his visits and that they had sent him away. And that they were going to keep sending him away and trying to keep them apart. But he swore that he would find someway to end all of this and get Akira out of this place.

Akira had waited four years for this... And finally, he has been freed.
