MALE. | FIFTEEN. | HOMOSEXUAL. | YEAR ONE. |
AURA MANIPULATION. | SOUL ABSORPTION. |
POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Aura Manipulation: He hates being able to see the colors of one's emotions. He finds it truly obnoxious, and would almost rather gouge his own eyes out than have to deal with it another day. But still, he manages. He finds himself actually rather good at manipulating and changing the wills of other people, making them feel whatever emotions he wants them to. He often uses this to get information or cover his tracks.
Soul Absorption: Amos tries to refrain from using this power, and it only ever seems to activate under extreme circumstances or if he's really really pissed off. Essentially, it works like a sort of power absorption, only he may even take powers that haven't quite been unlocked yet. However, it works by taking the very life of the person he is using it on. He has only killed a few people with it, and he gets rather unfortunate side effects of random memories or emotions, on top of the powers which he has very little control over.

APPEARANCE
Amos is albino in nature. Pale skin, reddish eyes, shortish and somewhat messy white hair. He is 5'8" and lean in build, sometimes doesn't eat enough. Amos winds up wearing whatever the school provides for the most part. Sometimes he will buy the materials for Amos to make clothes of his own, which he definitely prefers.
PERSONALITY
Amos is your typical angsty teenager, filled with some form of self loathing and self hatred. He often finds himself to be quite despicable and disgusting, and is quite convinced that he's some form of monster. On the outside though, he can be quite personable and polite. But hey, it's quite easy to fake emotions. He keeps himself at a distance from most other people, mostly because he truly despises everyone. Despite his lack of social skills, Amos is a very talented young boy, and quite a hard worker. He is ambitious and stubborn as all hell, so don't ever try to tell him what he can and cannot do, or you better be prepared to be proven wrong. While his work ethic is quite strong, he often works himself too hard, forgetting to eat or sleep from time to time, and sometimes it shows. However, he's been known to lash out at people who point this out. After all, it's not like he's afraid to get into a fight, and he's even less afraid to play dirty.
BIOGRAPHY
Amos was born to a rather young girl from some prestigious family that he's never met. His mother was disowned and kicked to the street after she was raped and refused to kill the child in her womb. By the time he was two, his mother had turned to prostitution to pay the bills, but by the time he was three she was addicted to drugs and stable housing seemed to disappear. By the time he was five, he had learned to cook for himself, wash his clothes and sheets, and clean up after his mess of a mother. Somewhere around there, his little sister was born. He took care of her to the best of his abilities, but by the time she turned four, he decided that she could take care of herself like he had done.
He went to school as often as he could, mostly just to escape his mother and baby sister, and tried his best to get the best grades that he could. Once his sister started school, he made sure to get her in a different school than himself, as he was quite ashamed of his family. The years progressed quickly, but Amos took to the streets, choosing to live on his own instead of in his broken home. He became quite skilled at moving swiftly and silently, even picking up on some skills, like lockpicking, pickpocketing, fighting.
Once he entered middle school, things started to change. At first, he thought maybe he had ate or drank something bad, but the blinding colors never went away, so, to the best of his ability, he ignored them. He began to work under the table for a few different places that saw nothing wrong with a little child labor.
When he was thirteen, things changed again, though, whether or not for the better he didn't really know. He had been working late, scrubbing floors of a small little diner, when someone broke in. Of course, he tried to fight the robber off, but he was just a kid. He took quite a beating. Just as the robber was leaving, he reached out, grabbing onto his ankle, determined to be dragged along. But the robber fell to the floor and went limp. And rather suddenly, he started feeling better. His wounds started to heal a bit and he slowly stood up, grabbing the gun from the robber's belt and wasted no time shooting the man. Of course he was terrified and never spoke of it again, other than with his boss when he found the boy sitting in a small puddle of blood with a gun in his hand the following morning.
Amos had kept himself hidden for awhile, but the next year someone had found him. Someone who said that they knew what he was and what he could do, and he was invited to an orientation at a special school. Of course, he didn't bother to attend the first year, but something had made him hold on to that invitation. And now? He's finally decided that it might be worth his while to see what these people could possibly want from him.
