For once it wasn’t the recurring nightmares that had kept her awake this time, but rather, Kari just hadn’t felt tired. That was weird within itself since she was notorious for sleeping almost every second she had the chance. Mostly during class, which tended to get her into enough trouble as it was, especially in this particular class. Yawning quietly, Kari’s gaze lazily drifted from the front of the room to her notebook. For once, she was actually putting in some effort, though not much. Then again, she didn’t really need to put in a great deal of effort into her work. So long as she was passing and maintained her enrolment in classes, then she was happy enough. Today he was busy balancing a pen between the bottom of his nose and his upper lips. As the pen fell from his little trick and rolled to the end of the table Haru sighed in boredom looking up at the teacher. Maybe this teacher should be his next victim so he doesn't have to actually go to this stupid class anymore. Even though Shin keeps insisting to him that science is important. Though Haru could see why he would say that.
With a yawn he looked over to his neighbor. He was actually pretty amazed that she was awake today. Usually she was sleeping and would at some point get yelled at by the teacher. Seemingly more fascinated in this fact than whatever said teacher was talking about, Haru adjusted the way he was sitting, so he could lean one arm on the desk, bent at the elbow so he could use his hand to prop up his head as he simply stared at the girl as if waiting for her to do some sort of trick or something. "Hey. Aren't you usually sleeping?" He finally mentioned after simply staring in silence for a good five minutes. "Actually trying to learn something today?"
