I have loved the stars too fondly to be fearful of the night. | It was nice, it was rather warm to begin with. Estelle had chosen to wander around and about pretty aimlessly, although it was always nice to be checking the area around her. Her golden eyes glanced back and forth, hoping that perhaps she could find something to entertain her in today. There were children running around, being kids and having as much fun as they could. Personally, she found that something refreshing - cute so to say. Ah.. But what was she to do? The wind blew by, throwing her locks of lavender back as she kept a tight hold on the white hat a top of her head. Her purple rimmed glasses were falling off the bridge of her nose, hence her need to adjust with the tip of her middle finger. Hm.. Did this disguise work? She assumed that it probably did, seeing how so few people recognized her. Ahh.. Even if she liked the attention that came from her career, sometimes she found that it would be annoying when she actually wanted time for herself. Plus, it was a little embarrassing for so many people to be looking at her at once. She was getting paranoid.. Just the thought was enough to have a pink hue snap across her face. Her eyes narrowed as she lowered her eyes to the ground, clearly trying to recompose herself. It can't be helped.. For now, her beset bet was to redirect her thoughts onto today rather than her past. Now then.. This area's spring was much less warmer than it was in Japan, and she could only remember so much in regards to her childhood. Just a simple white sun dress was more than enough, along with her little sun hat as she was scrolling along in the amusement park. So long as she was keeping her identity hidden, she wouldn't have to worry. There wouldn't be anything to worry.. Because her hair was tied into two plain twin tails and she was wearing glasses. Though she didn't usually wear make-up in general, just trying to hide her face was more than enough to conceal her identity. Besides.. As long as she used her normal voice, not too many people would recognize her. The 'Cosmic' that everyone knew had a strong piercing voice. Her real voice on the other hand was softer and had a much more girly tone to it. Of course, there were some people who might be able to tell it's her since she doesn't use the auto tune to her real voice. Then again, she only used that auto tune to give her voice a more electronic feel which works in the majority of her songs. As the young woman was walking, she found a few kids playing at one of the benches, not too faraway from her. They were about 7-10 years old, which was adorable to be honest. One of them was sitting on a bench with their legs dangling off the end, holding a full sized guitar in their hands. The little boy was showing it off to a group of his guy and female friends with a proud smile smack clear on her face. Estelle closed her eyes gently to listen to the sounds of their voices, along with the strumming of such a calm instrument. Hah.. she loved guitars. Even more so when they were gentle like this. The peace was quickly disrupted when she heard one of the kids crying out, and it would appear as though he was about to drop the guitar. From pure reflex, the girl turned her heel and ran towards the group, grabbing the guitar right before it hit the ground. "Phew.." She mumbled, with the instrument just inches from shattering. These things were delicate, you know. On the other hand, Estelle's lower piece clothing had gotten a few scratches on them from falling forwards on the pavement. Her elbows suffered a light cut, but she didn't seem to pay much mind to them. In truth, she was relieved that the instrument was saved. The kids looked at her questioningly, before helping her up by picking up the guitar and then helping her up. "Thanks for saving my guitar, miss!" one of the kids beamed. All the female could do was smile weakly back at them, before her burnt amber eyes scanned on over to the instrument again. Without her knowing, she actually started speaking. "So you play the guitar?" she asked, receiving a positive response from the child. The little group chatted for a bit, before the one who played yelled in awe. "Wow! You can play too? Can you play something for us?" He asked, and it was soon accompanied by the other children's' begging. My gosh.. She was terrible at denying people. There was no possible way she could deny these children.. Ugh.. Alright. If it was just for a bit, right? As long as she didn't get too carried away, it should be fine. With that, she picked the guitar up and adjusted the knobs a little bit before taking a shot at strumming it. It really made a beautiful sound, one that was literal music to her ears. Hey, why not sing a Japanese cover that she did way back when? Yeah, that would work. Besides, she was sure that not many people would have heard it, so she was safe! Her voice and the sound of the guitar practically overtook the entire park, soon to be enveloped in her melody. Many passerbys stood and listened, while the children looked at her all starry eyed. Before she knew it, hints of her SIREN'S SONG was slipping into her voice, and perhaps that's what pulled people in like a magnet. And here she was, the one who didn't want to attract so much attention.. |
