POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Pyrokinesis---
Although powerful when she's lucky, to say that Mitsuko has mastered this power would be a humorous statement indeed. True enough, she holds the ability to both create and manipulate flames at will, though because of the fact that she's rather inexperienced with it, she could more or less have a fifty-fifty chance of it working in her favor, or possibly even quite literally yielding explosive and scorching results to her or those around her. Most of the time, she can wield her flames appropriately, though it goes haywire on occasion; enough to the point where it would induce concern and panic. It's to be wisely noted that, if she's angered or has her temper flared up a considerable amount, the chances of a spontaneous fireball appearing or a textbook lighting on fire against her will are increased, too.
Illusionist---
While she's somewhat new to both of her powers, it's safe to say that she's just a little bit less invested and accustomed to her illusion powers- even if she actually really enjoys them and finds them amusing. While she'd truthfully want nothing more than to mess with the people that annoy and anger her on an off day, if she were to compose an allusion, she'd likely be met with quick strain and tiredness even if she focused for a decent amount. She's capable of holding an illusion, yes, but not exactly for that long. Straining herself is the only way to become better, though it would be obvious that she's straining herself with a projection by how it would begin to waver and even possibly glitch within view.

APPEARANCE
With a subtly strengthened form, Mitsuko Akahana exhibits the body of a more or less average girl as far as attributes and the like go. Standing at a height of five foot four and weighing in at one hundred twenty pounds (roughly one hundred and sixty-two centimeters and fifty-four kilograms respectively), she maintains a slightly shorter and slimmer figure in general as a result of personal and daily exercises, as well as a hidden degree of muscle, much to the constant surprise of others- especially when she proves strong enough to give even a burlier man a reasonable bruise that lasts for a few days. Her hair is roughly waist length and of a pure, jet black, while her eyes are of a magenta coloring.
Often times, her attire is rather simple when she isn’t wearing the standardized school uniform. Most days, she wears a simple t-shirt with a croptop hoodie, as well as a pair of shorts or jeans, and a pair of simple, flat-bottomed shoes. Her general clothing color palette isn’t necessary associated to a specific, day-by day color set, though one could possibly say that she favors whites and reds as far as shirt colorings go.

PERSONALITY
If looking for the nutshell version of her personality, Mitsuko could be easily and simply described as your (admittedly) standard and stereotypical tsundere character.
If looking for more description, however, then one could simply replace ‘stereotypical tsundere’ with ‘fiery’, ‘quick-tempered’, and ‘harsh’, among several other qualities of hers. All in all, she displays a confident and challenging front in the face in many others as a means of attempting to exert and stake both her dominance and authority all or once in order to attain respect or make herself unforgettable in the eyes of others- be it due to fear, respect, or perhaps even both. Rash in her decisions and actions alike, she holds a mind of intelligence, though that intelligence is often overwhelmed and negated by her tendency to jump to conclusions, as well as to shamelessly and fearlessly initiate a confrontation with someone if the situation calls for it. Most definitely the type to punch and yell at someone if she was angered enough - which does happen rather easily and somewhat often, much to the chagrin of others - it’s safe to say that she has more fight over flight instincts, as well as a stubborn streak that would almost never cause her to back down, even in the face of danger or clear, incoming loss. She’s the type to go down swinging and to finish what she’s started, rather than giving up right there and then.
The reason that she acts this way, however, is because of her subtle inferiority complex towards others- mainly and specifically towards her older sister. Having been raised in what was practically the shadow of her sister, as well as given the second best by her parents because of it, her deeper psyche causes her to label herself as something that simply isn’t worth much; not worth attention, not worth kindness, and not worth many, many other things. Because of this, she’s accustomed to be highly competitive and borderline volatile if she’s riled up, and would likely be prone to shamelessly taunting others in order to demoralize them and assert her dominance. In some events - specifically with guys - she may even decide to flirt with them if she sees them as the easily flustered type in order to further confuse and conflict their thought processes- but this tactic often has a fifty-fifty chance of backfiring on her, as she’s equally as flustered, too. A simple, flirting remark - or even a witty and suggestive response or statement - could easily have her blushing from ear to ear in record time, though not without the urge to punch whoever had spoken such a statement to her in the process.

BIOGRAPHY
Born in Nagano on April seventh, Japan, Mitsuko is the second child of Reimi and Kou Akahana, as well as the younger sibling of their eldest, Kyoko. Having been born in an area that was widely influenced by a grand amount of shrines, as well as several ninja-based and influenced areas throughout the city, she had grown up with a rather high affinity for Japanese traditions, and also picked up several hobbies that were more or less obscure for a child of her age and gender at the time as she paid many visits to the ninja establishments and amusement parks that could be found within a more or less local area. It was through these areas that she inherited her interest in combat - specifically in swordplay - and was motivated to keep even to this day.
Throughout her childhood, she had basically always been raised in Kyoko’s shadow wherever she went and regardless of what she did. In school, her grades were above average, though Kyoko’s always exceeded hers. She picked up a few musical talents and interests due to her parents’ insistence, though was quick to be forgotten and overshadowed by her sister as she, too, was urged to enter the musical field in her own hobbies. There even came a time when Kyoko stumbled into Mitsuko’s interest one day, challenging her to a few childhood sword fights here and there. Because of how dedicated she had been throughout the years, it was the one thing that she managed not to be bested in, but the way that she managed to hold her own ground after only a few spars to begin with seemed to lower her confidence even more. Because of this, her general resolve in her hobbies and herself faltered for a short time, but she quickly gathered herself and continued on as best as she could, doing her best to ignore the amount of unbalanced attention that was given to Kyoko as their parents fawned over her for her seeming achievements.
At around age thirteen, Mitsuko’s first power surfaced in the form of a fiery outburst- both literally and metaphorically. There came a day when she grew rather impatient with being taken for granted and ignored to the point where she went off on her sister and parents for the very first time. The family argued among themselves for a small wall, though it was swiftly ended in fear as Mitsuko gave a final shout, absentmindedly spawning an uncontrolled ball of flame near Kyoko in the process. Although it hadn’t caused any major damage, it did induce a noticeable and painful burn that Reimi and Kou were terrified by. With a more pressing matter at hand by then, they wordlessly and swiftly agreed to push the matter aside for the meantime as they took a trip to the hospital.
A few weeks later, it was decided that Mitsuko would be flown overseas to live with another relative of theirs, rather than staying with them in Nagano.
Still at age thirteen, she moved in with her distant uncle and aunt, as well as her cousins- whom she never quite got along with, which only proved to further emphasize and expand her hostile and angered nature. She attended school there with the help of her aunt and uncle - who both did their own parts to teach her English for sake of easier interactions - up until she got into another argument with a few of her other classmates as a result of him condemning her for messing up on a project a little bit too much. Much like her outburst with her family, she ended up getting a little bit too heated at the moment and ended up forming another flame orb out of instinct. It gave the student that she was a slightly harsher burn in comparison to the one that Kyoko had obtained, and ultimately ended up with her being sent to the principal’s office later that day. Sulking in her self-loathing and regrets by then, as well as a subtly continued fuming nature, she awaited the moment where she would have to talk to the principal, and was also confronted by an Aurora Academy scout during the conversation. After getting the general gist of the situation over with, she was given the offer to relocate to Aurora Academy to at least be able to attend a school that had students with other powers like her.
She accepted the offer immediately.
