"I have been watching you. All of you... All of your lives, with a thousand eyes and one."
He hadn't really wanted to go on the trip. He had many bad experiences with hot springs over the years, and even in a controlled environment, they made him seriously uneasy. But it wasn't like he had much of a choice. Sven would just carry him if he refused, and he really didn't want to deal with that either. For whatever reason, it had been harder and harder for him to sneak off and wander around lately. Ever since the Darkness escaped, it was like Sven was on some sort of high alert, and if he wasn't going to be around to keep an eye on him, then Sei had no choice but to go with him. It bothered him endlessly that for whatever reason, he was treated like a child.
Once they made it to the hotel, he just stood there and blinked at the room arrangement. He wasn't going to be with Sven? Well, that was almost a relief of sorts. Still, he wasn't going to actively ignore or avoid his companion either. So after a bit in his room, closer to dinnertime, he finally managed to come down and took a seat at a table. He ordered himself some dinner, and ate alone, which he rather enjoyed, surprisingly. Once he was finished he decided to explore for awhile, wandering seemed to be his true calling, and he rather enjoyed looking around the hotel and immediate surrounding areas. Of course, he didn't wander off too far, and eventually made his way into the springs themselves. Sven was supposed to be chaperoning, so he would no doubt be here, wouldn't he?
Sei changed his clothes in the changing area and kept a towel wrapped around his waist as he made it out to the pools. He was still uncertain about them, but there were plenty of people around, soaking in them and enjoying themselves, so it had to be good enough, right? He cautiously made his was over to them, curiously taking them in. He probably looked quite out of place and uncertain as he approached the pool he had chosen. First a few toes. Then the whole foot. He carefully tested the waters before finally shrugging and slipping in. "Ooh..." Damn... That felt pretty good. He sunk a little lower, resting his head back against the edge, closing his eyes and just taking a few relaxing breaths. At least until he felt the presence looming over him the way it usually did. His red eye opened a bit and glanced up at the man towering above him. "Something the matter?"

Close your eyes, so many days go by. Easy to find what's wrong, harder to find what's right.
The man had been thoroughly furious when he had discovered that he would not be roomed with the boy in his care, especially after he had left specific instructions of being roomed with him. However, he had gone to his room to see just the person he had been roomed with before the time of the groups going to the hot springs had arrived. Sven had gone down separately, having hoped to catch the boy in his care as the students went to go down to the hot springs. Unfortunately he did not manage to catch him so he turned back towards the direction of the hot springs and approached the water, not bothering to change currently, and scanned his eyes over the various forms there. It did not take him long to find his companion and he quietly approached, not bothering to speak until the boy noticed him standing over him, simply watching him until that eye opened and that question asked.
Sven knelt down carefully so that the boy could hear him from the other noises that was going on currently, a small shake of his head being given to the boy in a belated response to his question. "How are you doing since the room arrangement was messed up?" He asked him, reaching a hand out to brush some of the boy's hair out of his face a bit. He seemed to be fine...especially if he were to be enjoying the warm water. "Do you mind if I join you in the spring?" He asked him after a few moments, pulling his hand back as he awaited a response from the teen about his request to join him in the heated water. After all, hot springs were rather relaxing and even he couldn't remember the last time he had been in one.

The boy sat up straight and moved his hands back and forth under the water a bit as Sven asked how he was with the arrangements. "They are fine. My roommate appears nice." He shrugged a bit and continued looking into the water as if it were definitely more interesting than this conversation. But Sei didn't really work that way. Very little actually interested him. Though, as soon as Sven mentioned joining him in the water, his tipped his head back again and blinked at the older male. "Oh? You mean you would actually separate yourself from that cloak?" His head tilted just slightly to the side for a moment before he straightened and shrugged again. "It is no concern of mine what you choose to do. You are a grown man, are you not?"

A breath escaped the man at the boy's words of himself separating himself from the cloak, no smile showing on his face but his eyes betrayed a subtly amused look. "Yes, I would dare separate myself from such a precious item." He responded to him, though paused for a few moments before he shook his head a little. "I asked simply because I know I tend to...be overprotective." He told him, though he stood up after a few moments and looked away before looking back at Sei. "I shall return shortly then." He informed him before he turned away and headed off to go change into a towel to have that be wrapped around his waist so he could enjoy the water with the boy.
Upon returning back to the water, Sven slipped into the water and sat beside Sei. He sighed as he closed his eyes for a few moments in relaxation, the warm water soothing to his muscles and it had been such a long time since he had visited such a place as well. "This is quite nice, no?" He spoke up after a few moments, his eyes opening and turning to look at the male beside him. "We should find something to eat after this. This should be a rather relaxing night, especially to wind down after such a visit to warm waters."
