POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Telekinesis:Upper Intermediate. Maxwell is able to feel the presence of objects within a 20 foot radius. He is able to then apply force within that radius or up to 55 feet of line of sight by gesturing or motioning. The broader or more exaggerated the gesture, the more force applied up to ~75 lbs. Maxwell has trouble controlling heavier/larger objects, often causing the wrong things to move or otherwise mishaps. Instead, he focuses on manipulating small objects at close range, able to keep up to eight objects totaling up to 75 lbs, or a single 75 lb object in motion simultaneously, or disassembling and resembling objects. Maxwell can be seen taking notes, using a laptop, or even playing guitar by waving his finger or hand like a metronome. It's almost fantasia like. Of course, when people aren't looking he is put/pick pocketing or other misdeeds. The downside is that using telekinesis draws from Maxwell's internal temperature, burning calories and cooling his body. Overuse could leave him hungry and with hypothermia. He has to eat more than normal daily. It's been noticed an occasional object would move and float without prompt, and rarely in intense situations things randomly go wild.
Technopathy:Beginner Maxwell can take control of electronics, able to make them work to his will as long as physically possible (no toasters shooting lasers or the likes). An example is having a radio or any speaker device play sounds of his choice, or forcing a display to display the images he wants. Lastly Max can operate 'intelligent' devices remotely, such as a phone, laptop, etc. All of these can only be done within 20 feet, and requires constant concentration. If a device requires more power than it has to complete a task, the remainder will be pulled from Maxwell's body temperature as well. Due to the nature of certain appliances and how much power is required for them to run, powering them is much more strenuous on Max. Powering up a dead cellphone for as long as three minutes can put him at risk. Powering dead devices is almost always a last effort if there is no other way to.

APPEARANCE
Maxwell, due to the constant burning of calories and laziness from his powers, is built like a big red headed mop with limbs. Short and wiry at 5'4", Maxwell makes up for his, ahem, shortcomings with his clothes. When in uniform, the tie is often drawn loose and the coat wide and unbuttoned. He dresses flamboyantly mostly so his family doesn't mistake him for his brother Ethan, the splitting image of Maxwell. The only notable differences they had was Ethan's tidy hair and neat clothes. Maxwell on the other hand always looked like he just woke up and crawled through his morning. Of course the whole time he has a warm and fuzzy half smile that seems to melt everyone.
The most striking feature of Maxwell aside from his blazing scalp is the scar that runs down the side of his neck down his shoulder and fore arm. It is usually visible below his jawline and above his collar, and when ever his sleeves are rolled up. The blemish is jagged and coarse and all too eye catching. Just how Max likes it.
With him when permitted is his backpack usually containing an abundance of snack food, glow sticks, and hairpins.

PERSONALITY
The short of it is, Maxwell is the hybrid between a politician and a con man. He will smile, shake your hand, wine and dine, then steal your wallet and sell your SSN to the highest bidder, all without dropping the grin. Since the incident with Ethan, Max lost all empathy for others, becoming a prime candidate for sociopath of the year. He has a constant, subtle, content attitude exemplified by his easy going smile. He looks calm and relaxed in almost all situations. Whenever he meets new people, Maxwell creates a public persona of being the outgoing and friendly person you can always count on, and once that settles in he manipulates and twists people to get what he wants. Even if someone happens to connect the dots, no one would believe them that the 'sweet and caring, neighborly Maxie' would do such a thing. The only thing that seems to spark any kind of fire inside him is mention of his brother Ethan.
This is however, a far cry from the early Maxwell. Before his brother's death, Maxwell was truly a sincere and compassionate person. He didn't need to pull strings because his attitude naturally put him high on the popularity ladder. Since then, Maxwell has done a 180. He simply no longer cares.
Now that's just his feelings towards people. In no way is Maxwell a full time psycho or debby downer. He has passions and hobbies outside of chaos: Cooking and Music. He is well versed, but avoid him at all costs when combined. Saturday dinners were for a short while known as 'March of the Meal'. Maxwell would blast classical music and cook completely with telekinesis while dancing to the music. His family put a stop to it quickly when flying knives almost decapitated someone to the tune of Flight of the Valkyries.

BIOGRAPHY
Maxwell was born November 7th 20xx, at 5:42 pm in Seattle Washington. Five minutes later, at 5:47, his twin brother Ethan was born. This summarizes their relationship for the next 11 years; Inseparable, but Maxwell always just a little ahead. While they grew up, Maxwell was always the first. He was more popular, he had better grades, and more friends. However the entire time he ignored what always came to him. He only cared about living with his brother. They would run off and play together, Ethan always chasing behind Maxwell.
Ethan and Maxwell were mirror images. The differences became more noticeable around 8 years old. Maxwell was loud and boisterous, while Ethan became more reserved. They became night and day yet stuck together all the same. Had Maxwell kept his hair groomed and his clothes straight their parents would barely know them apart.
Shortly before their twelfth birthday their was a split. Maxwell began to develop his powers before Ethan, and Ethan snapped. Ethan was resentful for always being the one behind. He bottled it for a few days, and finally on their birthday he ran. He ran out of the house, Maxwell behind him for a change.
He kept running watching Ethan a few feet in front of him. He watched Ethan run into the street. He watched them lower Ethan into the ground. The last time Maxwell cried was when he saw the shovel hit the dirt. He hasn't shed a tear since.
Maxwell's family found themselves sitting on enough wrongful death and insurance money to put him through every private school on the planet. Twice. They almost needed to as well. He was expelled to three before being admitted to Aurora as a second year. The rumor is Maxwell beat a classmate to near death with a rock for accusing him of killing his brother, but sweet, caring, neighborly Maxie would never do such a thing, would he?
That all leads up to Maxwell sitting in his top floor Aurora dorm room blasting classical as knives cut carrots at the kitchenette while he conducts Flight of the Valkyrie to no one in particular. Well, it would seem to no one particular. You might catch a glimpse of Max talking to the air if you watch hard enough.
