POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Aquakinesis - Reagan discovered this power first, when she was 13. She had always been active in the water and had been on the swimteam since she was a child - she was beginning to play water polo when she realized she could manipulate the water in the pool. It was just a bit, but it was enough for her to notice. She practiced more in the bathtub and came clean about it to her parents about a month later.
Voodoo - Reagan discovered this power later, at age 15. It is weaker than her aquakinesis at this point and less predictable, but she is able to cause people to preform simple actions or cause them slight feelings of pain. It is always temporary - she cannot do any permanent damage at this point. She has not revealed this power to her parents.

APPEARANCE
Reagan is short, blonde, and curvy. She dresses in outfits that she knows will compliment her figure and her friends often tease her about how much cleavage she chooses to show at events like dances or when they go to parties, but she's starting to tone it down a little as she gets older. She usually wears her hair down. Her hair is dark blonde, but she gets highlights to make it appear lighter.
She usually picks out clothes that are comfortable and flattering - leggings or jeans when it is colder out and shorts or skirts/sundresses in warm weather. She is usually wearing a pair of flip flops or adidas, and adheres to some more "basic" standards of beauty. Her favorite colors are pink and red, but she also wears a lot of black.

PERSONALITY
Reagan is a princess. She's used to having things go her way, and that's how she likes them. She can get very frustrated when things go differently than expected or when someone disagrees with her or tells her she's wrong. She's confident in herself, in her looks, and in her abilities. She excels socially, and makes friends easily, but after a while she usually wants to retreat to the safety of her dorm.
Reagan is incredibly ambitious. She does well in school, but does not work as hard as she could. She is able to do well while putting in minimal effort, but it is clear she would do way better if she wasn't so lazy. In regards to her future and her ambition, she is not opposed to having to cross others to achieve her goals. She can be a little manipulative in this regard, if something (or someone) stands in her way, she has no problem using her adept social skills to maneuver them out of the way.
While Reagan is generally friendly, if someone crosses her she will seek revenge. She can usually be appeased without too much difficulty, but if the person does not do this she is a force to be reckoned with as an opponent. She is liked by most people and will certainly use this to her advantage in order to slander the reputation of another.
As a friend, Reagan is fun to be around and tries to be thoughtful of her friends. She can be a little selfish, though, and is sometimes oblivious to how much she has in comparison to others. She is always there for friends who are going through difficult times, and is a surprisingly good shoulder to cry on, especially if it comes to romantic troubles because she has had her fair share.
Romantically, Reagan is not necessarily the most flirtatious off the bat, but after she likes someone she will be very flirtatious. She likes to playfully tease her romantic interest. She falls in love easily, but each time it feels very strong, even though at heart she knows it will fade and she'll be crushing on someone else soon. Romance is a big aspect of her life and something she cares deeply for. She does not like casual relationships - when she likes someone she likes them a lot and will want to be exclusive. Unfortunately, she runs into trouble frequently in relationships both because of her strong feelings (she is comically unable to create any sort of cool, uncaring facade) and because of her unwillingness to compromise.

BIOGRAPHY
Reagan was born in California. She has two parents who both are successful financially, and one younger sister, who is 3 years below her and who does not have any powers. She is unsure of where her powers came from, and her parents are stumped as well.
When Reagan first revealed her power of Aquakinesis to her parents, they were shocked but had no choice but to accept what their daughter was showing them. They researched the topic extensively and discovered Aurora Academy, where they immediately sent her at age 14. She was able to stay in the nicer dorms because of her parent's affluence.
She got along fairly well with each of her parents. Her younger sister is basically the opposite of her - studious and quiet while she is lazy and sociable, so they were never extremely close but they still get along well.
Her life has been pretty tame as far as any real difficulties go - she was always adept socially and her economic privilege allowed for a pretty cushy life.
She became aware of her curvy figure long before any of her friends had developed similarly, and this made her self-conscious of her body from a young age. She was incredibly self conscious and insecure about it from elementary school up until age 17, but has recently become more confident. This insecurity, paired with her desire to be a perfect human being, caused her to have an eating disorder from ages 13-17, but she is in the process of recovery. She knows she is beautiful and has never had a "real" issue with her appearance and others, but these negative thoughts can still sometimes flourish and cause her to feel awful about herself.
The only other really difficult period she went through was at age 15, when she met her first boyfriend. The relationship began wonderfully, the two complimented each other well and got along great. He was an amazing boyfriend, at first. After seven months they ended breaking things off and Reagan was devastated for a few months... until he invited her to hang out again. One thing lead to another, and they ended up hooking up. This continued for almost a year without them ever getting back together in a serious way. Eventually, Reagan found out that the reason they were never together again was because he was actually dating another girl, Sarah, who had been hospitalized due to a chronic illness. Reagan felt awful.
During these months, the boy, Andy, became intensely emotionally abusive. He took Reagan's insecurities into account, having full knowledge of her struggle with an eating disorder, and would use it against her whenever she began to distance herself from him. He would comment on how chubby other male students thought she was, or how strange certain aspects of her personality were and would follow it up by reminding her how much he loved and accepted her anyways. Unfortunately, this always worked on Reagan, even though she found out later that they had all been fabrications. He also became controlling to the point where he would punish her for speaking against him or acting in ways that he did not deem appropriate, and would threaten to hurt himself or get in fights if she did anything that upset him.
Reagan was able to break free from the relationship when she found out about Sarah, but it had a deep impact on her. Because of this, she is still untrustworthy of most men, and assumes that they, like her ex, are just trying to use her for sex. Because of this she became incredibly flippant and cold to new potential partners. This creates issues for her because she will assume men who are perfectly kind actually have ulterior motives. She also is emotionally damaged from having gone through such an awful relationship and is still struggling to find her self worth after it. She is doing better and is far more confident and happy now than she was, but it still lurks heavily in the back of her mind.
