APPEARANCE
Takakuwa is a tall individual who stands at six feet tall and has very well toned muscles. He is incredibly muscular but his muscles aren’t bulky and he has a very lean figure. His eyes are a shade of amber and when those who fall under his gaze can sometimes feel like he is looking into their soul as he tries to figure out what kind of person they are. On top of his head is short white hair, which is usually very well combed but if he gets stressed out enough it can be a bit unorderly but nothing too messy. All for all he is a rather attractive looking but his stern facial expression tend to make people uneasy around him unless they catch him off guard when he is relaxing and his smile appears.
He is found most of the time wearing his naval uniform, which he had to buy a second set of since he gave one of his to Manami. His uniform has metals decorated his right chest and is kept in nice orderly condition at all times. If you ever find his uniform out of order it is a clear sign that something is seriously wrong. There a few rare occasions when he wears something besides his uniform but even then he will still be wearing combat boots at the very least. If he does take his uniform off he’ll usual just wear casual clothing such as a pair of jeans and a t-shirt unless it’s for a special occasion.

PERSONALITY
Takakuwa is a very strict, orderly, tough, and strong individual. He is almost the image of a perfect soldier, following his orders to the letter unless it absolutely goes against his moral code. He has a strong sense of justice that he is completely willing to enforce with his own hands and wouldn’t have it any other way as the idea of someone doing his job for him disturbs him. He is also a workaholic and the idea of not having work to do is also something that bothers him severely. All of these traits are all supported by his determination that drives him to any goal he sets for himself and allows him to push past his limits.
Despite this order enforcer and near perfect soldier personality he has going for him, there is also a kindhearted part of him placed there by his mother.Takakuwa hates to see others suffering and finds himself instinctively protecting those he finds in pain. This was one of the reasons that he joined the military, to protect the happiness of those he cared about and those who lived in his country. Also once he becomes attached to someone he has a tendency to becoming overprotective of them to the point where it can get a bit frustrating. Lastly, he has an incredible amount of patience creating during his childhood when he had to deal with all his father put him through without losing his temper.

BIOGRAPHY
Takakuwa was born into a family known for its military prowess. His father, grandfather, great grandfather, and probably even more generations beyond served in the Japanese military. His father was strict and very similar to a drill sergeant constantly pushing Takakuwa to his limits and having him even go past these points. He didn’t understand the concept of giving up or surrendering and he drove these morals into his son. His life as a kid was definitely not the same as most kids as it was shortly after his sixth birthday that his father was giving him a daily training routine. The training became more intense the older he got and there even were a few incidents where things had gone too far resulting in Takakuwa spending quite a few nights at a hospital, though none of his injuries were ever life threatening or permanently damaging. It wasn’t as if his father didn’t love him, the exact opposite was actually true. His father wanted to make him as tough and strong as possible so that he could survive any given situation. There was even an incident where his father “abandon” him in the woods during a trip to test his survival skills. He had actually been watching Takakuwa the whole time from a series of concealed locations and was prepared to intervene at any time.
However, it wasn’t as if his father always got away with all this risky behavior as Takakuwa’s mother was constantly there to reprimand him for putting their son at risk, especially when Takakuwa ended up in the hospital. Growing up in these conditions Takakuwa developed just as his father had wanted him to. He became strong, tough, determined, and even picked up his father’s stubbornness. He was constantly the strongest person in his classes growing up and was known for even being able to beat down kids far older than him if they tried to hurt his friends. While he was strong he didn’t fit the stereotypical image of a jock as he did exceptionally well in school as well since doing badly in a class meant going home to angry parents, that along with his father giving him a more intense workout than usual made failure a very scary thing. Eventually, he did end up going to a military academy and with his father’s intense training behind him, which included physical, strategic, martial, and mental practices, he got through the academy with flying colors. Then just like his ancestors he joined the Japanese military, the navy specifically.
Takakuwa had been in the navy for a few years and had risen through the ranks to rear admiral when he had gotten the call to go after a group of pirates causing trouble for maritime trade and passenger ships. The expedition to capture these pirates began and he led a small fleet out into the sea in an effort to find them. They had followed a few leads on the pirates but none of them got them any closer until a series of reports on cruise ship attacks came in. It wasn’t too long after this that they eventually caught up to the pirates at the beginning of one of their attacks on a cruise ship. Despite the fact that the pirates had been completely surrounded they showed no sign of surrendering and Takakuwa was preparing for a fight until a certain event happened that completely destroy his perception of the world. Before the attack even began a gigantic sea serpent rose out of the sea from the side of the pirate ship. The ocean waves rocked the ships back and forth as the sudden appearance of such a large mass caused the water to redistribute itself. What happened next was a massacre, the sea serpent unleash a spray of fire across the pirate’s ship burning any on top of the deck alive, anyone surviving pirates who tried to jump ship were quickly caught in the monster’s jaws and their life was swiftly ended. It was one of the few times during Takakuwa’s military career that he felt truly afraid. Yet as quickly as the monster appear it vanished as if into thin air. Shortly after the rescue mission began as the navy tried to pick up as many survivors from the incident as possible, one of which was a small girl who was found completely naked in the water.
After all had been said and done all the survivors had been accounted for and brought back to their homes except for a certain girl who’s identity could be confirmed. Whenever they inquired about the girl’s identity she always respond the same way “My name is Leviathan” yet they couldn't find any record of any girl her age or who looked the same by that name in their records. While the government continued to search for her identity the crew ended up adopting until her true identity was figured out. She became known as the demon child as despite her small size she picked fights with the biggest of the crew members and yet still seemed to win these fights. She came off as antisocial, aggressive, and overall just demonic. The crew as a whole had started to become fed up with her behavior and that was when Takakuwa finally intervened. Well actually the girl picked a fight with him and he had nearly died in the process. She had beaten the girl, though he even had to acknowledge the fact that she was even stronger than him, through the use of tactic instead of power. Upon losing the girl stormed off but it was only about a day before she came back and challenged him again. Yet this time he was prepared and relied more heavily on skill and tactic letting him win quickly. This process continued day after day and it seemed like the girl was only growing more frustrated with each loss, however, at each loss she began paying more respect to him. When they had first met she had address him as “guppy” and “small fish” yet now she referred to him by his name and sometimes even used the proper honorific.
However, no one had realized the true significance of this change until the day that the girl actually gained the upper hand on him. It was during one of their daily fights that he had lost his balance and receive a kick from her directly into his gut. The force had sent him flying and even caused him to pass out. When he had regained consciousness he found himself in the ship’s hospital room. The girl had fallen asleep in the chair next to his bed. The nurse informed him that after he had passed out the girl had carried him all the way to the room and hadn’t left that chair since they laid him down in the bed. When he asked about it in the morning she quickly denied it but couldn’t make eye contact when she said it. She stopped showing up to fight Takakuwa everyday but he could still feel her watching him as he walked about the ship. She quietly followed him around the ship and it soon became evident that she was mimicking him. He even turned his head one day to find her copying his training routine. Slowly, the two of them began to share a strong bond and the other crew members even began to refer to the girl as Takakuwa’s daughter, along with the jokes that he was the only person the girl showed proper respect to.
It was never to be, however, as eventually the government did figure out the girl’s true identity and plans to bring her to her family began. Before he brought her to the train station to drop her off with the agent who was suppose to bring her to her home she brought the Levi on a trip to a nearby city for the day and brought her to the aquarium after she made a fuss about it. While there she had bought her a large stuffed dolphin, which she refused to admit she wanted. Dropping her off with the agent he could’ve sworn she had seen her tearing up by any memory of that was quickly overwhelmed by the fact that she had hug him tightly before saying goodbye,it was the only time he had seen the girl show any sign of weakness or compassion.
With permission of the family he continued to visit the girl whenever he got a break from his military service and he it didn’t take long for him to figure out that there were to personalities living inside the girl. Only one of them had been present during the girl’s time with him since the other had gone dormant but he soon learned the other persona’s name, Manami, and grew to become friend with her as well. Takakuwa was also at the airport to see Manami off on her way to Aurora.
