Serena's in desperate need of friends, honestly. She's just...innocent. Not oblivious to manipulation; in fact, she'll actually know when someone is trying to use her, but will normally obey them anyways for sake of not starting a scene, since she had become accustomed with such things after living with her father. She wants friends so much more than she could ever express and feel - if she could actually manage to express herself to begin with, honestly - but really lacks the social skills and self confidence to approach someone and hold a conversation with her own voice, and not through the voices of her summoned tulpae. She's extremely fragile, and needs people with kind, patient, and caring types of demeanor to watch after her. If you're gonna throw a really hyperactive and bubbly type of character at her, they're probably gonna get a really huge flinch and wince if they jokingly pat her, or even seem like they're about to hit her on accident. Because of her past, she's extremely sensitive to physical and emotional insults and abuse, making her extremely reactive to the slightest movement that she feels threatened by- which is legit literally almost anything and everything.

All the more reason and need for her to be surrounded by people to help her boost her confidence and whatnot.

enemies Honestly, I don't think Serena could have anyone that she considers an enemy. She's too nice and gentle for that. Now, her tulpae on the other hand...they're each a completely different story altogether.

She has four main tulpae that she considers her closest friends, and also conveys her thoughts through their own forms and voices: Ethan, Forest, Faith, and Luca. Ethan and Luca are both male, while Forest and Faith are female. Ethan takes the form of a energetic and easygoing boy in his late teens, and probably gets mistaken for a fourth year a lot whenever he's out and conversing with Serena. Forest is seemingly in her early twenties, is substantially more soft-spoken yet devoted to her beliefs and morality, and is more of the guardian angel-type figure for Serena. Faith looks to be just a little bit older than Serena herself, is the type to jump the trigger, and often chooses her words aggressively and strongly without much thought, but ultimately has good intentions. Luca - named after her father - is much older than the rest of the other tulpae, taking the form of a middle aged man. He's essentially the father that Serena always wished that she had, as he's kind, caring, and quick to take note of Serena's insecurities, only to quickly attempt to help her overcome them and soothe her in times of stress.

Each of them have their triggers. Forest tends to start guiding Serena away when inappropriate topics are mentioned. Faith does the same when someone is trying to take advantage of Serena. Both Luca and Ethan's main triggers are really when someone substantially threatens or offends Serena, though if pushed hard enough, the same could apply to Forest and Faith, as well.

lovers Serena herself probably wouldn't realize a crush right away at first, but I actually have a request for her specifically. It may or may not happen, but I want for there to be some sort of complication. Something along the lines, of like...she's tricked and manipulated into a toxic relationship.
Maybe not necessarily physically abusive - even though I'm honestly open to that - but just hurtful to her in general.
She'll stick with it because she's way too lacking in confidence to stand up for herself, even with the urging of her tulpae, but she'd need someone that actually cared about her well being to convince her to do that. Y'know. That cliched thing.

friends ...While I'm not necessarily opposed to friends, most of them would probably just weigh me down or would just be too sensitive to my personality in the long run. Fellow companions are definitely nice and all, but if they're just going to weigh me down or distract me from my goals, then I'd be glad and willing to do without new ones, and to stick with the handful that I've managed to meet as it is. It's something that I've thought and accepted long before coming here.

On the off chance that I get to know someone, though, it's probably because they have good morals and whatnot. Respect. Honor. Intelligence. Street smart. Academically smart to an extent. Qualities that a lot of other people my age seem to honestly lack, nowadays. ...I won't tolerate idiocy.

While I do have a hard time conveying words and thoughts, I am...immensely curious, to say the least.
