| we burn in fire. we burn in blood. we burn in dreams. "Young Master, maybe we should just retire to your suite for the night. You just came from a fifteen hour flight. Surely, your body must be tired." a sweet, light and breezy voice quipped just behind the broad-shouldered heir. There were three figures. A young looking maid dressed from top to bottom in a black and white maid uniform with countless lace, frills and bows to top it off, stood at the back; her nervous magenta eyes cautiously glancing at the nearby surroundings. The campus before them was littered with flowers, large trees, manicured acres of lawns and young adults scattered here and there enjoying the afternoon breeze that spring could offer. To the right of the maid stood a tall, if not slightly brooding young man at full alert and attention. His white hair hung down in a long ponytail and his red eyes remained dark, yet with a tinge of disinterest. It was clear on his face that the likelihood of wanting to be where he presently was was less than desirable. To the front, leading the trio was Yi Jung Hsu, heir to the currently largest conglomerate empire of mainland China, a master businessman; a prince among commoners.
It had been three years since he had shown up to Aurora Academy and yet he was still able to impress scattered bits of people. The freshman who could not recognize his name whispered wanting to be in the know, but the second years, his underlings, his peers amongst third years, and his seniors knew who he was. It was highly unlikely that such a being would tend to show up on a secluded campus such as Aurora Academy, yet here he was and furthermore, here he was as a registered student despite currently being dressed head to toe in a black suit with maroon accents that some were sure to have quite a bit of zeros behind the cost of said attire. As he skulked up a hill, the bluish-gray-eyed boy had frowned. "A duplicate of mine flew fifteen hours, Xiang. I never left the campus." he responded quietly. Lee's eyes searched the terrain, but as to what he was looking for was never disclosed or understood by his companions. Of course, they had never questioned him either as Lee was very prideful of his time and felt that it should never be wasted. Because of that, duo behind him followed him without complaint.
"Oh!~ Yes, of course Young Master." Xiang bowed before offering a small apology and silencing herself. If the onyx-haired maid was being honest with herself, she could hardly tell which Lee she was with was ever the "real" Lee. Each copy he made was so precise, elaborate, and specific, a complete body double, that she would not know if the Lee before her was real until he phased out of existence like the being was never there in the first place.
He had continued his walk winding down a cobblestone pathway littered with cherry blossom trees and had followed it accordingly after not finding just exactly what or rather whom he was looking for. No one had said a word. Only the light padding of shoes and the click of Xiang's heels against the concrete could be heard.
A strong spring wind blew invoking a flurry of cherry blossoms to swirl along the pathway. They whipped against the trios forms causing Yi Jung to shield himself by covering his face and closing his left eye. His right eye through the flurries had spotted a blonde-haired figure in the distance. As the wind died down, Yi Jung had lifted up the photo he had in his hands. In the photo there was a young girl with chestnut brown flowing locks and happy looking eyes. Completely opposite from the figure he could see in the distance.
"You there!~" He had yelled switching from the trio's Chinese mother tongue into clear and concise English. Bursting into a slow jog, the heir hand approached the figure with his employees following close behind him. "I require your assistance. I am looking for someone and I was hoping if you could point me into the right direction of where this person is. Can you help me?" Hands in his pockets with an expectant look on his face, Lee was completely oblivious to chance encounter set before him. |

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | A chill creeped along her spine tickling her anxiety and the bubble nudging in her stomach. Anxiety, for the past few days now she’s been feeling strange bouts of restlessness followed by her instincts all but whispering for her to pack and leave. To run, run from what? She was confused. She saw nothing around that could tickle her paranoia. That part of her chapter was done, but she guessed once you get a taste of that life there is no stop button. A gust of wind lazily passed her by, her nose twitched as pollen tickled her nostrils. Spring…. The one season plants start blooming and wild life wake from their winter’s sleep.
Along with the animals the plants too were slowly rousing from their slumber. Some fully awakened in bloom as the ground littered in numerous white and yellow wild flowers. She was half tempted to pick a few, to play a game to past time. Friday mornings at this time were relatively calm. She yawned. A lazy eye roamed around from left to right, silently keeping watch upon the few students roaming about the grounds.
She was supposed to be in class. Whoops? Which was it this time? Oh yeah… she remembered. It was music. She cringed at the thought. Barely keeping a flinch from showing through her mask as she laid underneath the shade of a sakura blossom. Pink petals dotted the soft grass beneath her, adding a bit more cushion to the relatively soft greenery. Her eyes closed, flitting through her thoughts she pulled out a mental version of her schedule. Lunch period was to be followed by science. This one she could attend, the teacher wasn’t too annoying, and all they did was lab projects. Another yawn. She felt herself slinking into a quiet nap.
The cooling breeze cooled the rays coming from the sun before it had a chance to reach earth. Which didn’t help much it keeping her firmly grounded to the waking world. Sleep and her never truly did see eye to eye. Last night was another one of their lover spats as she came to call them.
Slowly, slowly it goes….a little more she could hear the faint whistle of the dream train calling for its passengers to board. A little nap wouldn’t hurt…. She could already feel her consciousness stepping into the said train. A little nap--- Then it all came to a halt when a voice broke through her peaceful reprieve. English? It sounded foreign, a mix in his accent that gave him the impression of someone who wasn’t from a English speaking country. Should she ignore it? She was half tempted to ignore protocol. She turned to her back to him but the voice started to become insistent. A quiet sigh left her lips before the golden haired ‘boy’ turned to face the offending party.
Light blue eyes met her normally neutral gaze. She blinked, arching an eyebrow in silence when the man all but showed her a picture of…. It took a few minutes for it to click in her brain that she was looking at an old picture of her. Her mouth nearly dropped if it wasn’t for her old over her expressions. “…May I ask why you’re looking for her?” Katya asked. The arched eyebrow still raised as she finally forced her form to sit up. A few pieces of grass entangled into her blond locks. She barely made a move to brush it off instead her gaze remained fixed on the dark haired man and his… companions.

| we burn in fire.
we burn in blood.
we burn in dreams. Lee stood before the young, lounging male. The heir gave the boy a once over. Medium length blonde locks of hair with tints of green grass that had been sprinkled across his head, a symbol that he had, at the very least, been at his current location quite a bit. Half-dazed and lax, yet vibrant cerulean eyes met the onyx-haired third year's own discerning bluish-grey ones. A slacker was the first thing that had crossed the teenage businessman's mind. His appearance seemed dazed and disturbed from his prior nap. At least, that was what Yi Jung assumed he was partaking in. It was the only logical action the young male could guess due to the grass particles sprinkled in his hair adding to the disheveled appearance.
After dispelling the picture before the boy, Lee had almost immediately snatched the photo right back and away. He had folded the image and placed it into his suit's pocket, before turning his attention back before the blonde haired foreigner before him. Lee watched with unimpressed eyes as the peer before him arched an eyebrow. Whether it was concern, suspicion, or any other emotion, Lee could not tell, but caring too much about that was not even on his top priority list. He could not be bothered.
"…May I ask why you’re looking for her?" The teenage boy's response was languidly slow with a crisp light accent. So he was not American either. A lack of concern dripped from his voice though, and if Lee truly considered it, maybe there was a bit of wariness and apprehension as well? His response was immediate nonetheless: "That's classified. It's simply 'yes, I have,' or 'no, I have not. Which is it and I will let you be." It was easy to tell that the Hsu heir's patience was running thin, but Lee was running out of daylight hours and his priority of finding this young woman on campus was the first.
It had crossed his mind a few times during the day as to just why this girl was so hard to find. It hardly made sense. His duplicates, he had sensed, had found no such luck either. Any pratical place, be it the Phoenix dorms, out and about shopping through the town, to more remote areas like the beach or the woods, Yi Jung's luck had turned up flat when it cames to finding her. It was as if this woman, Katya Kanazaki had completely fallen off the face of the Earth. Did she even exist in the first place?
A small touch had brought Lee out of his brooding thoughts. Xiang hand placed a concerned hand on his upper arm touching it just slightly with a small show of concern on her face. Nothing needed to be said between the two of them. Her facial expression had just said it all, Young Master, you don't have to overexert yourself. Even if we don't find her today, there is always tomorrow. But the truth be told, there was no tomorrow. He had a schedule to be on. To take another day to find a girl he was not sure had existed anymore would throw his scheduling completely off. Every hour of the day mattered to him and his time would not be wasted. His efforts would not be wasted. Even if there was a severe lack of sleep, Yi Jung would see to it that the girl in the photo would be found and Lee would proceed to watch over his fiancee through his graduation.
"Thank you Xiang-Jie jie." The Chinese heir had placed his own hand over hers. Switching back to his mother tongue, the words came out quietly before turning his attention back to the young man who now proceeded to sit up from his lackadaisical position in order to engage what Lee had hoped would be more of a fruitful conversation.

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | ’And you found her’ She thought sardonically. Keeping her thoughts much to herself she didn’t so much as tell him he found her target. What reason would she have for doing it? He never answered her query as to why he was looking for her. Plus the way he retorted back to her kindly intoned question didn’t sit well with her. Being a blunt person herself she normally can handle it when its being tossed right back to her. But this guy… the way he spoke it out rubbed her the wrong way? So why should she? She found herself fighting against the urge to twitch an eyebrow. Her lip twitched though. Threatening a frown on her delicate mien as she stared at him. Giving him a blank look before she sighed.
Why couldn’t people just answer the damn question with the answer she wanted. She grumbled out the thought. Keeping her irritation well away from her neutral mask as the child titled her head. She hadnt noticed the time while she was out. The sky already gleaming brightly with its bright blue pallet. Already afternoon… she hadn’t noticed it.
The child quietly mused the notion of returning back to her room. There was a game waiting for her, if her internal clock was right. Daily reset was just around the corner giving her ample things to do to pass her time should… sleep proved to be more than a bit difficult now that some ingrate decided to pull her out of the dream train. She wasn’t too positive about getting another ticket, sleep and her never got along for her to warrant second chances unless she personally knocks herself out with sleeping meds. Said meds hadn’t been touched for months now. Pride, more or less. She didn’t want to depend on medication just to get some sleep.
“….If you put that way then…” She began before pausing. Her words laced thickly in an Asian accent. Her tone turning icy once she started. “I haven’t seen her in my life. So no.” She told him with the same amount of bluntness he used from his previous answer. She can tell she won’t get along with this guy… oh no she was starting to understand WHY her gut had been trying to caution her all week. Though now at the very least she knew she needed to watch her move with this around. Or better yet keep an eye on his progress in locating a girl no one in the academy knew about. Because….well she didn’t exist here. Katya integrated herself as a boy in their eyes. She was known as a male here… not as a girl which now she felt relieved she had the notion to hide as one of the opposite gender while being trapped here.
Well not really trapped… but she’s not exactly keen to go home back into her old lifestyle anytime soon. Her eyes took its chance to wander towards the boy’s two companions. Noting how… out of place they must feel within a place mostly populated by teenagers. Their English styled clothes depicting a butler and a maid made them stand out towards the numerous students all wearing the normal uniforms. Though hers… was one of the men’s attire. Just missing the blazer which she substituted for her cardigan. Speaking of which, said cardigan now has a few grass stains at the back of its ashen coloured fabric. More washing… great. The girl almost grumbled at the thought. Another thing to remind herself about is to do her own washing once she gets back to her dorms. She doubted she could do it now… maybe tonight when everything was nice and silent. “Perhaps asking the girls?” She tilted her head, barely hiding the sarcasm intoning into her words as she jumped back up her feet. There was no way for her to get any sleep now. She was damn sure of it with this guy on a prowl. As long as he doesn’t figure out it’s her though…she doubted she has that much to worry about. Though… the trickster part of her…was half tempted to toy around with this boy. A little revenge as you could say. “Perhaps the girl dorms? Or town? She might be from the other two schools.” Pretending to be somewhat helpful as she turned her gaze back to the dark haired male. “Or just give up, I doubt you’ll find her if…she doesn’t want to be found. But if you’re the stubborn sort. Have fun hunting.” With her words casually said she made her way past then only stopping when she was right next to the boy. “Piece of advice, try learning tact.” She left him those parting words before she made her way back to the cobbled path.

| we burn in fire.
we burn in blood.
we burn in dreams. The response the young Hsu heir was looking for was not the immediate one. Nor was it the response that he was seeking, which meant that his time was being wasted and that was something Lee was not exactly fond of. The raven haired teen had noticed that the boy’s mouth twitched as if he had more to say, but he seemed resolute in keeping a dispassionate and impersonal disposition which Lee was fine with. He was not one for excess chatter when there was already so much for him to do and he still had yet to have found this girl.
“…If you put that way then…”
His eyes had followed every movement the blonde haired boy before him made. Noting his dazed pauses and the slight tinge of an accent he had. Upon closer observation of the slacker before her, Lee had noticed that he actually was less of a foreigner than he thought. His hair had certainly thrown him off. It was a very natural shade of blond and there were hardly any traces of what could have been his natural hair color. The Chinese heir had decided that despite proving to be quite the slacker, he must have at the very least kept up with his hair. The largest indication however, was his eyes. The boys eyes, though were a vibrant shade of blue, they were quite almond shaped, much similar to his own, which clearly gave another indication this boy was Asian. As to why he chose to dye his hair blonde made him think of those idols that were prevalent all over the Asian music industries or another possibility of it just him wanting to fit in or maybe just because he felt like it. If Lee were being objective, he was certainly to the more attractive spectrum looking quite like the male idols who consistently sent teenager girls into a tissy with a mere wink.
The well-off boy was only half listening until the boy’s voice had brought him back from his thoughts: “I haven’t seen her in my life. So no.” At that, Lee lifted an arched eyebrow. If I put it “that way?” The wording of his response had struck an inkling of suspicion through Lee. It was as if something had prompted him to respond in almost a defensive retaliation. The onyx-haired boy had eyed him up and down again. “I would advise you to think again.” He requested. “Her name is Katya Kanazaki. She would be possibly around a second or third year’s age group. She supposedly attends this academy as well, but I find it convenient that I cannot find her at all at this academy. It is as if she had never existed in the first place. Are you telling me she doesn’t exist at all or that she’s dead?”
“Perhaps asking the girls?”
Lee shook his head immediately folding his arms and giving the boy before him an incredulous look basically stating, “Well, isn’t that obvious?”
“Not only have I asked girls on campus, but off of campus and in typically female-dominated territories within Silver Falls. I have no room to be discriminatory now as this girl could be anywhere at this point.” He frowned as he watched the boy jump to his feet as he seemed like he was ready to head off.
“Or just give up, I doubt you’ll find her if…she doesn’t want to be found. But if you’re the stubborn sort. Have fun hunting. Piece of advice, try learning tact.”
But Lee was hardly finished with the boy before him as the small seedling of suspicion was quickly budding. He certainly felt that this boy had more to offer in regards to what he was looking for and he was not about to let him leave so easily. Xiang was well ahead of the Young Master as she had slipped through one of the trees in front of the boy before her. She offered him a polite smile while the butler, Xin Yin had proceeded to follow up behind her blocking the boy from proceeding any further.
“Piece of advice, learn some manners. You do not leave a conversation when someone’s still speaking to you, slacker.” With his folded arms and assertive posture, Lee critically eyed the blonde as he slowly approached him once again. “‘Giving up’ is not an option for me. So I’ll ask once more. What is the current location of Katya Kanazaki?”

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | Stubborn bugger wasn’t he? Kat held back her tongue from lashing out at him. She had to be cool. She couldn’t allow him the satisfaction of knowing how he managed to do what few people could. He managed to worm himself into her nerves. Like taking a baseball bat and bashing it straight into her iron clad control. He managed to get into her skin in a matter of minutes into their conversation.
He probably didn’t need to, trying to find her was already egging at her frayed nerves. First her three former classmates and now… this man. It wasn’t surprising to see a vein threatening to pulse on her temple or how her lip turned slightly. Teeth dug into her inner cheek as she constantly reminded herself not to snap. It didn’t help that this guy woke her up in the middle of a nap and was now demanding information on a person he was trying to find. Namely… her former self…
What was his reason? She couldn’t expect him to give into his demands without first knowing WHY he was looking for her. That would just… her thoughts paused, broken by the influx of words flowing out from the boy’s lips. All she could do to react was raised an eyebrow as he did towards some of her replies. So… he looked all over the place for her. “Well if you cant find her then you’re probably not looking well enough. Then again. I don’t see how looking for this girl should be my problem? Ask the school administration perhaps?” She drawled, her tone laced in ice at the very end while expertly hiding some venom into her wording.
She tried keeping her tone bordering somewhere between disinterest and annoyance. Annoyance she once tried to keep out but he was already testing her patience on the subject. The only good thing she sees in this conversation was marking off areas she was sure now to avoid if this guy really was out to find her. He even knew her name…. would be surprising if he didn’t, she argued mentally. She had actually hoped he wouldn’t and that she had the foresight to change her name as well and not just the gender on her application letter.
She was finished with him at this point she discretely got the information she wanted without him even knowing he was actually giving her areas in which to avoid him finding her. But it seems the boy’s own curiosity was going to be a hindrance for her. She could see it spark on his steel grey orbs. Suspicion… that wasn’t a good mix for this situation. She said kept her mouth shut about it, figuring he’ll forget it sooner or later. Only for his two companions to block her path. “And I find this conversation already tiresome.” She retorted. Batting the slacker comment to the side. It’s not the worse she’s heard and certainly wouldn’t be the last time she heard it from someone’s lips. Blue orbs steeled itself when it whirled to face him. There was an air of defiance sparkling from her own azure orbs when she casted a quick glance over to the butler and then towards the maid blocking her path. “I already told you. I don’t know where the girl your looking for is. And I don’t see how it’s my problem.”

| we burn in fire.
we burn in blood.
we burn in dreams.
Lee observed him, silently, patiently, not uttering a word, though frankly he did not have to. There seemed to be a storm brewing behind the younger blond-haired boy's larger cerulean eyes and to the Chinese heir, that just made everything about him seem all the more suspicious. Why the dodging? The ducking and weaving? The distinct word choice? Why the interrogation? Most people would just answer the question and move on, but from what Lee could scrutinize, the boy before her had something to hide and from his wording, it had something to do with Katya Kanazaki. So he paused and waited though not for long as he spoke rather nonchalantly in the midst of being cornered between Xin Yin and Xiang, though he could pinpoint seeds of annoyance growing from within the more assertive and direct tone he was taking. Good. With enough picking and prodding, he might be able to develop more answers in regards to where his fiancée was.
As he arched his eyebrow, Lee countered with a folding of his arms.
“Well if you cant find her then you’re probably not looking well enough. Then again. I don’t see how looking for this girl should be my problem? Ask the school administration perhaps?”
The words slipped from his lips easily. "If searching every nook and cranky of this two-bit town is not well enough then please, by all means, address how I can be more thorough." he borderline snapped followed by a bit of an exasperated sigh, especially towards the end of his reply. "The only one who is making it an issue is you. If you can tell me where this girl is, I'll be out of your way. I'm not a loan shark or anything. I don't need to hurt her, but I have an urgent meeting scheduled with her that needs to be fulfilled. Simple as that. Though, I suppose, if heading back to the school administration office and calling her potentially out of class over the announcement speaks all over campus is the most suitable and least embarrassing course of action then, sure, I guess that would suffice."
He had never met someone so uncooperative in his life and with his clones being sent out here and there throughout Silver Falls, to augment his personality into one that was more fitting for the situation would tax Lee out thoroughly. He smirked as he tried to dismiss himself though being blocked by Xiang and Xin Yin had put a dent into those plans. Lee casually adjusted the lapel on his pocket a look of indifference crossing his face. "It doesn't have to be your problem if you inform me of where she is or tell me all you know that could allow me to find her." He walked over to him looming over him as his look of indifference had quickly crossed over to a glare. "Starting with your relation to Katya Kanazaki."

Post by Shimizu Manami on Jun 2, 2017 4:39:49 GMT
On the opposite side of the courtyard laid a small petite girl with long silver named Shimizu Manami on a wooden bench with her feet resting on one arm rest and her head placed on the other side. Not even she knew how long she had been laying there as she had drifted into sleep a long time before. She had most likely missed a few of her classes but she could probably come up with some kind of an excuse, though she definitely couldn't tell the faculty the truth. Telling a teacher that you didn't go to their class because you were taking a nap was never a good idea. It wasn't as if he girl was lazy or unmotivated, actually this couldn't be any further from the truth as she loved learning and was natural curious, instead her nap had been a result of an event that had occurred the night before when her other half Levi decided to go for a midnight swim. If there was any one problem with having another entity sharing the same body with you it would be that it was very easy for there to be two opposing opinions and only one of them could win out in the end. Despite being the primary persona Manami wasn't always in control of the body and if she resisted Levi's will for a long enough period of time she would exhaust her willpower leaving the monster girl in complete control.
Considering what could've happen with Levi in full control the situation wasn't that bad but that didn't mean Manami still wasn't highly irritated with her. Levi had suddenly decided after burning through all of Manami's willpower that she wanted to go down to the ocean and she wasn't taking no for an answer. So shortly after the clock's hour hand has passed midnight she snuck out of her room, off school grounds, and to the ocean where she than proceeded to swim for what could have been hours on end. The monster girl didn't even apologize for wasting all their energy and instead fell asleep leaving Manami to fend for herself without any energy. The silver haired girl slowly opened her ocean blue eyes as she returned to consciousness and blinked her eyes as she tried to adjust them to the brightness of the midday sun. Slowly she moved herself into an upright position, stretching out her arms, and yawning as she rose to her feet. She reached her hands down to the ground picking up her backpack she had placed next the bench before she had given into her exhaustion. She had thrown her bag over her back and was about to make her way to class, even though she wasn't even sure what class she was suppose to be at now, when she noticed a small group of people huddled around one location on the other side of the courtyard. At first they had just caught her curiosity as something important seemed to be happening but as her eyes and the scene became more clear a feeling of panic and anger spread through her body. Right in front of her she saw her friend being surrounded and harassed by a three people who seemed to be members of the higher classes of society. She could hear her other half slightly stir in her slumber at the very idea of the wealthy, hopefully she would stay slumbering and not try to mug them. However, her other persona was the least of her worries as multiple worse case scenarios flew about in her head. Where they from kind of mafia or something? Where they demanding money off of Kat? The answer didn't really matter to her anymore as she had one simple thing on her mind.
I have to protect Kat!
There was one rule that Manami and Kat had placed on each other at the end of junior high and today seemed to be the day that she would have to break it. They had promised never to use the skills they had been taught unless their life was in danger but the current situation demanded action and Levi had fallen asleep. Manami put her backpack down on the face and even took off her signature naval jacket and cap to lessen the amount of loose clothing that could make noise. Than she began moving towards the group using a certain method of walking she had been talk by her teachers back in junior high. Her movement was nearly dead silent as she cut off any unnecessary noise that could be create as she quickly moved towards the group. She would've come within a few feet of the group when she suddenly spoke up.
"Is there a problem here? It appears like you are harassing my friend here, I would really appreciate it if you stopped"
Her muscles were tensed when she spoke to the group preparing for any action that could be taken against her. She may have not had Levi's experience but she had her former teachers' training and in must case scenarios that could deal with the situation. Her only goal was to keep her friend from getting into any danger and if that required holding off the three "assailants" than so be it. If worst came to worst she could always wake Levi up but the diplomatic solution was always preferable.

精神病の愛 You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. WORDS count here NOTES say something nice | There’s an irony lingering within his words that made her want to laugh. Giggle even when she tried holding back the sheer amount of amusement from showing through her indifferent façade. Right now it fought against the growing bubble of annoyance from the tone the man spoke with her. At the same time it also raised questions she wanted answers from. Answers she cant go around bluntly asking without giving away secrets of her. She needed to be discreet, to hide the words within thin veiled questions quick quips turned retorts towards the boy’s own comments.
Half the words reached her mind before she appropriately cut it off to stop the rising bile of her temper from reaching a new-found form of irritation. The headache trying to tear a whole through the back of her head wasn’t helping matters. Not when her gaze was bringing itself back to the pathway leading straight towards the surrounding forestry covering the campus grounds. Like a beat it pounded, the same as someone reaching for a hammer and bashing the metallic headpiece straight into her cranium. But through the dull sensed ache she still forcefully skimmed through his words at the same holding back her tongue from firing multiple aimed retorts. Her teeth already nibbling at the bottom half of her lip for good measure to keep it shut in case the annoyed part of her head manage to gain some bit of control over her actions.
She cant act irrationally she realized. As he continued to talk she tossed another gaze straight for the two people now blocking her path. Her eyes stayed a bit longer on the butler, catching the alert almost hawk like stare hiding underneath a serious expression. Her eyes narrowed slightly, hiding it under the guise of a squint from the blaring rays of the afternoon sun. Another breeze past them as his shadow loomed over her small figure, shielding part of the bright rays at the same time shadowing her sight.
“You say you were looking though I don’t see how wasting your time with this conversation be hardly worth than you using it to go find whoever you are looking for and I MAY know of her and again that’s private knowledge. I see no point in sharing private information to people I HARDLY knew anything about.” She retorted with barely disguised sarcasm tinting into her tone. Covering it like a blanket would. The guy..was starting to become another person whom she would rather not like to speak with again. But he’s stubborn. Her thoughts managed to squeeze in.
Her body further tense once he finished his own set of reply. To call her out in public… he had a rather strong point there that can either work for him the same way a double edged sword would. That would either give her enough warning to plainly avoid campus for the day or simple just not go and pretend she didn’t hear it. It’ll get her into trouble with… how the school brigade was already in her case for her lack of attendance. But the child hardly found a reason to care for it. “Then why haven’t you then?” Perhaps it was the headache that’s making her slightly irritable today or a combination of it and a ruined nap. Thinking about it merely made her sigh at her luck. “True embarrassing her would have gotten a reaction. Wouldn’t it have made your job easier?” She tried distancing herself from labelling any form of relation from her former self but when theyre talking about her in a sense it wasn’t exactly easy to take it personally. “My relationship with her? Oh that’s easy. She’s my girlfriend.” Came the split decision. So much for not taking it personally.. a voice snidely echoed in her head. She found herself agreeing with it. Before another voice snapped her out of her own thought, craning her head to glance at the figure behind the trio her heart both echoed relief and actual worry. Minami… that meant she might be dealing with a Levi if things really went south. “It’s alright Nami… they aren’t doing anything.” She muttered softly, tossing another annoyed glare at Lee. “They were looking for ‘Katya’” She said, hoping Manami got the hint to play along for now.
