It was no surprise for the blonde to be woken up at an ungodly hour this specific day by his brothers, all seemingly yelling in his ear from over the phone. He had slowly woken up after that, quite irritated at the fact that he couldn't get back to sleep, and went about getting himself ready in some casual wear and not in that suit he normally wore. He had been mainly planning to just keep himself cooped up in his room secluded from everyone, but his phone buzzed and he checked his phone only to see an unknown number with a text stating for him to check outside his door. What kind of sick joke was that? Though, after a few minutes of doing nothing, curiosity got the best of him and he wandered over to his dorm room's door, checking the peephole for anyone on the other side to see nothing. Hesitating for a moment he opened the door and glanced around until he looked down, seeing a decent sized package waiting for him with an envelope taped on top. Now this was just curious...
Michael picked up the package and carried it back into his dorm room, setting it down on his coffee table as he sat down on the couch. He looked at the box for several moments before he reached over and peeled the envelope off and opened it up to read it what was inside.
"If you're reading this, then that means you're alive! Joking aside, haha, open the package and take a peek at what lies inside! Take the items within and then head on outside where your ride awaits! You'll find your next instructions there! See you soon!"
Michael had to read the note a few times as he blinked once or twice. Just what was this? Was someone bullshitting him? But... A heavy sigh escaped the teen and he got up from the couch only to walk to the kitchen area and come back with a knife in hand, using that to help him open the package. Once it was opened he peered inside and widened his eyes in shock before he quickly pulled a helmet, a motorcycle helmet, out along with a jacket resting beneath it and a key. "Holy shit..." He breathed out as he stared at it and then grabbed the paper to read over it once more. Good gods this had better not be some sick prank! He grabbed the jacket and slipped that on before he grabbed the helmet and key, hurrying out of his room, making sure to have his wallet as well, and fled the dorms to see just where this mysterious trail would lead him. Once outside he grinned as he spotted a fine motorcycle just waiting for him, another envelope taped to that as well. A grin slowly made its way across his features as he made his way over to it and then examined the bike.
After a few moments he got onto the bike and set the helmet down between his legs as he leaned forward and peeled that off the motorcycle. Again he opened the envelope and pulled out a paper inside to read it, now getting more interested in what this was going to lead to.
"So you found the bike! Congrats! Just head on over to the shopping district and search for the restaurant of your taste! Approach the waiter at the podium and request for the special. There you'll get your next set of instructions!"
Michael tilted his head slightly but shrugged and stuffed the paper back into the envelope and opened a small carrier bag on the motorcycle to set that in before he inserted the key into the ignition and started up his new toy. He put his helmet on and kicked the stand off the ground before he revved the engine a few times and just made his way out of the campus and towards his current destination. It took him about ten or so minutes to get to the shopping district, the blonde teen hadn't really been keeping track of the time, and eventually slowed his motorcycle down to a stop at a suitable location before a fancy restaurant. He took his helmet off and took out the kick as he kicked the stand down and got off, soon walking inside with his helmet in hand.
He looked around for a few moments before approaching the podium that stood there, seeing the waiter marking a few things down on a paper. Or rather sending a quick text to the person who had helped arrange this to inform them that Michael had arrived. "Uh.. Could I have the special?" Michael asked after a few moments once the waiter and looked up and greeted him. Michael was led over to a table off to the side with a nice view, only having to wait a few minutes before a nice dessert that was a cheesecake with blackberry sauce and blackberries resting on top was served to him along with a thin box with a note attached to that. Michael couldn't help but smile at the sight, remembering the very first date he had with his boyfriend briefly and that having been a dessert then. He happily began to eat it once the waiter left, pausing halfway through to take the note off and read what it said.
"You've come to the brief end of this trail to your true destination. Come to the boardwalk and there we shall meet!"
The blonde teen shook his head slightly with a smile and proceeded to open the box only to find an exquisite tie lying inside. His eyes widened slightly as he looked at it and took it out carefully, examining it as a grin slowly crossed his features and then carefully put it back into the box and then closed it, soon going back to finishing his cheesecake. Once done with that, he got up, the waiter not bothering for him to pay so he left a tip, and then departed to get back to his motorcycle and get going once more.
~~~~~~
It took almost twenty minutes or so for Michael to get to the boardwalk, again slowing his motorcycle down and finding a suitable place to park it. He pulled the key out of the ignition and stuffed that in his pocket and grabbed his present from the carrier bag and looked around for who he'd meet, his helmet in one hand and the present in the other. "Well... Guess to see what all this has been leading up to.."
