POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Pyschometry - An ability he has learned to use over the course of a few years. While not entirely useful, it does fulfil his need of knowledge, allowing him to know certain things about certain objects or certain people. And, in a way, the negatives certainly outweigh the positives, supposedly. Every time he looks into the past, he gets hit with a sense of overwhelming tiredness, that takes him out of action for a set amount of time. About an hour. He also has to touch the object/person for this ability to work. He can't just see someone and look into their past.
Foresight - Another ability that he learned to use alongside his other, but it's actually the complete opposite of his other ability. 1) He doesn't need to touch anyone and 2) Oliver doesn't look into the past, he looks into the future. Only one downside. He can only look half an hour into the future. So, it's not exactly great for seeing how the end of his day will be. But perhaps to see if someone will take his cake.

APPEARANCE
Standing at a rather tall 6 feet and 2 inches, Oliver is rather attractive looking teenager. He has a beautiful head of hair, running down to his cheek like a messy mop upon his head. The only difference is that this mop is a charcoal black/brown and not blonde. Oliver is also a skinny boy, but healthy, weighing 150lbs.
He isn't muscular, nor is he boney.
Clothing wise, he wears a white shirt covered by a black sweater or white, depending on his mood and/or if he's currently at school. He doesn't wear a tie with his shirt but he has a small, black lace that he wraps around almost like a tie. It's a memento from a family member used to remember, and represent, memories. He occasionally wears a brown coat over all his clothing, because it makes him feel comfortable, but he has started wearing it less because he feels he needs to adjust to new things and the coat doesn't let him do that. Lastly, he wears bandages around his arms because he feels it to be rather oddly comfortable. He doesn't have a reason for it, just his own fashion sense.

PERSONALITY
Your average, British person. He's got a rather rich-like personality just take away the snobby part of most. Oliver likes to show compassion and kindness because he's had experiences with people being kind to him and he doesn't want to treat anyone differently. Oliver has a rather cold first impression as he doesn't tend to talk randomly to people unless he has a reason or they approach him, which usually catches him off guard, making him skeptical.
He's a knowledge seeker, reading books, observing behaviour and asking a lot of questions--Almost too many questions--that he feels are necessary. He usually just has his head stuck in a book, however.
Personality wise when he actually gets to know someone, he is rather bubbly. An almost cold kind of bubbly. He always seems so emotionless, despite not being. His face is always resting in an emotionless state. Oliver rarely smiles but the topic of books or the act of reading is a good enough excuse to get him to smile. While he doesn't admit to being a nerd, if he encounters another book lover, he tends to begin speaking a lot--Almost way too much, in fact--BUT that's the magnificence in a book lover.
Now, while he's all this and that, he doesn't lack other emotions. Anger is something he feels a lot. Living in a world where the smug dislike books and mock them, he gets unhappy fairly often. Not to say he'd slam someone for dislike books, of course. As a book reader, he's naturally led to be open minded. But when people say books are useless, he gets a little bit annoyed. Perhaps a bit silly. Fair enough for an avid book reader though, right?
Now the most exciting part of the personality! His love life! Ahh, if only.
He doesn't really look into dating, as he's not that interesting. Oliver is a rather particular person, having specific needs and likes. The reason he ignores dating is because he believes that one day, somewhere, for some reason, he'll meet someone that'll just spark him and get him going on for days and days about the same topic, which is cute, but tedious to normal, non-book-loving denizens of earth.

BIOGRAPHY
Ahhh, history. Such a great sub-- Oh, wait. Wrong history.
Oliver has a rather boring, tedious background. Nothing flashy, nothing amazing, just that of a student that loves to study. The eldest of all his siblings, he is also the smartest of them all. They were all into being with friends, doing things, going out, following trends but Oliver sat inside, going to the library, studying, going to school doing everything he could to improve his knowledge, when one day, inside the library his hand met the dusty cover of an ancient book about historical movements: Volume II - - - - - Missing title, obviously. Upon touching it, his mind set back to the past instantly, a thousand images flashing through his mind instantaneously, with no warning. As his mind snapped back, he fell to his knee feeling a rather immense tiredness sweeping over him, causing him to fall onto his back, letting his eyes creep down causing darkness.
It wasn't the only time this happened, either. It began to happen more often, more deeply, the tiredness didn't get worse though. But, was annoying nevertheless. Ah, but the ability took a liking to him as did he to it--Naturally, though-- AND he learned to control it. Perhaps, not having it happen every time he touches a kitchen table, seeing the ham sandwich mother made for him a couple minutes ago. Exactly a year later, something amazing happened, however. An incredible discovery. He had another dormant ability lying in wake for him. Being able to see the future. Not oracle level, gladly. However, it was still useful. Half an hour? He could see the ham sandwich yet to be made. Jokes aside, I haven't talked about his life yet, how rude of me.
Oliver got along very well with his siblings, treating them with great respect and trying to get them to learn that they'd one day succeed in great things. However, they always tried to mock him in a sibling jokey way. Didn't stop him from trying. The one thing he never knew was that he was the one destined for great things. Always striving for more, to be the best. It was almost a skill, really. Being able to be so smart and high up but not abusing it to hurt others. Oliver had seen that a lot. Where smarter people, richer people abused the poorer, dumber people. But to him, smartness was simply a viewpoint. If you're smart, you use logic. If you're not smart, you use your imagination. Imagination is just as good as logic because it allows you to draw things out in your head and create wonderful ideas. Logic, however, allows you to use knowledge to grasp and understanding of whatever using information you already have.
Anyway, going on.
- Oliver was always an incredible student at school, passing with A grades, being your regular, elitist studier but he was also incredibly kind and open minded. His parents, who didn't like this, however, wanted rid of him. They thought his powers were stupid, silly and that he needed to stop studying, which he would never do. So, they sought ways to see him out. It was something they always argued about. His siblings stuck up for him. But he was always the odd one out. Always strange, unwanted in the family. Eventually, they struck "gold" so to say. Aurora academy, a place for those with special and unique features. It was well... also an academy. The one place where Oliver would willingly go without questioning it. Unfortunately for them, he did question it, however. Didn't make sense, too sudden, too random. Why? Why? Why? He asked this three times. The question why. Why did he ask it three times? Because it was sufficient. He got the answers the third time. Why did he question it despite usually not questioning it? Because he didn't want his parents to get exactly what they wanted. Why... do his parents not like him?
It was a rather long story, frankly. His parents didn't like him because he had committed an awful crime that he never, ever wanted to speak of again. Oliver was so adamant about never talking about it again, he almost forgot it himself, however, deep down in the dark crypts of his mind, it lurks, never escaping. Ah, but no one knew besides his parents and his siblings? They don't have a clue. They don't know that their brother secretly holds a demon within his mind, a memory that haunts him forever. But... it wasn't his fault, right? He didn't mean to kill his sister, right? Or perhaps he did? Everything had been fine with him and his sister up until one particular night, the rain gushed out of the sky like a dam had just burst, it paddled everything with its might. It was one of the worst rain outpours they had in years but it was also on this night Oliver did something beyond imagination.
She stood out in the rain, by the hill, admiring the rain. It was her favorite. Her scarlet hair dampened by the rain, dripped. Her beautiful red blouse was dark and soggy, her shoes, filled with water, looking raggedy as ever. And Oliver took it all away on that night. The scarlet haired girl met a beautifully tragic fate. And Oliver? He simply smiled it away until the regret began eating at him. And to this day, it lurks, waiting for a trigger. Waiting for a word, a memory, a place. Because once you murder one person, you crave to murder another.
Despite all this, Oliver wanted away. His parents were a constant reminder of what had happened, and the only way to finally forget about it, would be to leave home and to never return. Hopefully he'd forget about the tragic deed he had committed, or maybe he'd make it worse and end up taking another life? Who figured? But his mind was focused on one thing right now. Studying at this new academy.
