Felix Griffen
MALE. | SIXTEEN. | PANSEXUAL. | YEAR TWO. |
ANIMAL SHIFTING. | TELEMPATHY. |
POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Animal Shifting: Felix has two common animal forms that he shifts into whenever he feels like doing so.
Felix Cat
Felix Fox
Telempathy: Due to the sensitive nature of this ability, it is often completely out of control. He is trying really hard to not cause too much damage to himself or others while he learns how to properly use it. But for the moment, if his emotions get too out of control, he will usually emit a rather powerful telekinetic wave, knocking things over, breaking things, the like. He still is unable to shut the empathy off, and is at a complete and total loss of his own emotions, unable to control the emotions that often cloud his mind. Because of this, he often tries to wall himself off, but it usually doesn't work. He's still learning how to use this, and often finds the thoughts of others float into his mind unwillingly. Just like his empathy, he seems unable to turn it off, but he is trying to learn how to at least not react to the things that he hears.

APPEARANCE
At 5'5" and and 131 pounds, Felix is a rather small boy. He's rather lean and lanky, much like his cat and fox forms, which allows him to squeeze in and out of some pretty tough places. Felix wears bright clothes, and dark clothes, more of whatever he finds most comfortable at the time. This usually means black cargo pants, a t-shirt of some sort, and a dark blue hoodie that was given to him by Luka a few years back. Felix has dark brown hair, that is bleached out at the tips, framing his face. He has beautiful amber gold colored eyes. Occasionally he will decide to have out a dark brown tail and cat ears, but he usually has to be in a good mood for this. He also has a rosary around his neck, which he can't remember how he got, but he's had it since he could remember.
PERSONALITY
To say that Felix is socially awkward is kind of an understatement. He knows very little about how to interact with people or what is acceptable and what isn't. Because of his abilities, he is often able to look right passed the fake faces that people put on, and he is starting to learn that people don't like that sort of thing being pointed out to them. He is quite friendly however, and does at least try to get along with others, even though that doesn't really seem to happen very often for him.
Meek and timid, he's one of the more shy of people. For being as young and naive as a teenager should be, he is rather on the responsible side. He is quiet and hates to be a bother to other people. He is rather smart, but he won't say anything out of place if someone else has the situation under control.
He is really naive and trusts almost anyone, despite his past. Felix is a strict follower and tends to be used by a lot of people, as he really does want to make everyone happy. An optimist by nature, he has never really been extremely angry at anything, and doesn't understand the more positive emotions, though he does try really hard, which often leads him to be easily confused on matters revolving around such things.
While not entirely new to the world, there are still a lot of things that Felix hasn't discovered or experienced. He is very excitable and curious about every new thing that he encounters.

BIOGRAPHY
Felix doesn't remember much of his previous life. He doesn't remember that he is really the son of a Yakuza lord. Nor does he remember that he was kidnapped and reconditioned to be what he is now. Five or so years ago, Felix was taken from his home in Japan and brought elsewhere by enemies of his father. He was placed in a special facility where they broke him down and brainwahsed him. They tortured him, beat him, reconditioned him to be the perfect little impressionable tool. After about a year or so, he was a clean slate, ready to be placed in a new home with a young couple that wanted a child. Of course this young couple worked as a sort of foster family for whomever these guys brought to them.
They were nice to him for awhile, raised him right, always made sure he had proper manners and everything that he wanted. But as soon as he was starting to fit in, something awful happened. Felix was never allowed to leave the house, but he ever questioned why, he was loved so he didn't really care. But one day, his given birthday, he only asked for one thing. He wanted to go to the carnival that he had seen on the television. His foster mother decided that since it had been a few years since he was taken, that maybe they could get away with it, just this once. So while her husband was away, she took the boy to the carnival.
It had been one of the best days of his life. They had lots of fun, playing games, riding rides, eating all sorts of yummy treats and foods. Just as the day had been about to end, they were shopping a bit at a few stalls to let him pick out something for his birthday. At first he didn't register what had happened. He had been so happy, just smiling and turning to face his foster mother with his gift when his face became splattered with blood and chunks of skull and brain matter. He hadn't heard the gunshot, and he could barely hear the screaming of the people around him. He could barely register the feeling of someone's hand on his shoulder, shaking him and asking if he was alright.
Everything had felt like it happened in slow motion, his mother's head being blown to bits right in front of him, her body collapsing to the ground. It all seemed to take so long. And yet he just stood there, wide eyed and shaken up. No one had seen the shooter. The boy didn't even notice he was being whisked away into a van, being taken away to someplace else. Again he was being asked if he was alright, but he didn't have any answers for that.
The boy was put into some sort of protective custody, though he wasn't entirely sure why, or what had happened. Though, apparently his foster family had sold him out to a rival of sorts and he had actually been brought to the carnival to be sold off in some sort of underground child trafficking ring. Once the information had found it's way to the right ears, assassins were sent out to take care of the family and take the boy back to the facility he had been in before until he could find a new family.
It was around this time that his powers had begun to develop, and slowly he became more and more withdrawn. His new family was terribly abusive, and Felix found himself often wishing that he was dead. He missed his old foster mom and just wanted to join her in whatever afterlife there was. But the more he felt like that, the more the people around him begin to change, until one day, they too blew their brains out, leaving the poor boy in another state of traumatic shock. He stayed in the house like he was supposed to with their rotting corpses until someone came along to check on them. After all, families like that needed to check in regularly to know that they hadn't been compromised. The state of the poor kid was enough to get his kidnappers to bring him to an underground doctor of sorts. But still, his powers were rather out of control. Luckily, the doctor was an empath as well, and he suggested that they take the boy in and place him in a special school.
They knew the risks, but they were assured that he would remain safe there. After all, their boss worked there.
