POWER DESCRIPTIONS
Summoning; Intermediate-
Kyoko can call forth familiar through a circle drawn in the air with her finger. The complexity of the circle drawn determines the familiar called forth. As she traces her fingers through the air, her fingertips glow with a light blue, and form a translucent glyph.
Wolfbeing; Unitaro-
A wolf-like creature with blackish-blue and silver fur. Undeniably Kyoko's favorite familiar. Standing at three feet from paw to back, Unitaro can be both intimidating and adorable. Drawing directly from Kyoko's innermost emotions, his demenor when summoned is dependent her mood. Built for speed and power, Unitaro attacks his enemies with swift lethality, using his large fangs, and sharp claws.
Fairy; Pixie-
Much like her name, Pixie is a tiny fairy, no taller than 6 inches. In terms of appearance, she is what one would expect. Her hair is multicolored, from red at the roots, to pink, to purple, to blue at the tips. Her build is frail, and hightlighted by her light blue pixie wings. In terms of battle, Pixie is a defensive unit, able to create a shield around her body to protect those within it from magical attacks. Of course, the large the attack, the more energy Pixie uses, and the less effective she will be. More importantly, Pixie can draw from Kyoko's Healer's Touch power and heal minor wounds and afflictions. The same restrictions that apply for Kyoko apply for Pixie.
Healer's Touch; Beginner-
With the same light blue glow, Kyoko can remedy minor wounds and aliments with a touch of the affected areas. However, the length the touch is required is determined by the severity of the wound.

APPEARANCE
Standing four-foot eleven, and weighing in at one hundred pounds, Kyoko is a rather small, frail individual. Her skin is pale, contrasting well on her short black hair, which is almost always tied into high pig-tails with blue ribbons. Her eyes are a dazzling green, and normally highlighted with a deep coat of mascara and eyeliner and there is a beauty mark under her left eye. When not in her uniform, Kyoko can normally be seen in a cute open top shirt, and a skirt or dress. The one thing consistent thing about her appearance is the belt she wears, bearing a metal yellow buckle with a crescent moon and circle in the opening.
PERSONALITY
Kyoko is normally a happy individual with an affinity for bows and ribbons. In a group setting, she is normally the quiet one; however, she does not seem to dislike being out of the spotlight. Being able to get along well with nearly anybody is one of her best attributes, and faking being friendly with those she doesn't is one of her talents. Soft spoken and kind hearted, Kyoko will go out of her way to defend someone being mistreated, and she's quick to stand up against bullying of any kind. When alone, Kyoko enjoys trying on new clothing, playing with her familiars, music, and attaching new bows to her wardrobe.
BIOGRAPHY
Born Kyosake Mi, the heir to the Mi fortune, Kyoko was indeed born as a male. With his father gone ninety-percent of the time due to work, Kyosake was raised by his nurturing mother, whom always wanted a girl. Although physically male, she raised the boy as more of a daughter than a son, bringing him up to enjoy make-up, and dresses, and the like. Life was good for young Kyosake for the many years he spent alone with his mother. On occasion, his father would stop by, and in those occasions he showed only distaste for the young boy's affinity for things he considered feminine. He wanted a child that could take over his company someday, and there was no he could pass such a responsibility onto someone like Kyosake.
That distaste only grew stronger as Kyosake grew older, even choosing to go by the name Kyoko instead of the one given to him by his parents. His mother was encouraging, regardless of the many times Kyoko had heard his father screaming about "brainwashing" his son.
Kyoko was ten years old the first time he saw his father strike his mother. They'd been arguing once again about the way that the boy dressed and acted, and his mother was defending him. From then on, things got worse. Eventually the father's stresses got the most of him and he fell into the many vices the fortune he amassed had offered him. After that, when he came home, there was nothing but violence; towards just mother first, but then slowly things developed to the child as well.
Kyoko and his mother put up with it for a few years, until one day it became too much. His father was on one of his "aggravated rampages," striking the two of them with his belt, flipping tables, smashing stuff. Kyoko finally had enough. Something snapped inside him. Rising a hand to the air, he summoned forth all his anger and hatred, and drew a circle, one the child had seen many times in his dreams. Leaving a glyph in the air, it glowed a dim blue, then began to get brighter and brighter. Suddenly from out of the glyph, like a portal to another plain, burst forth a wolf-like creature.
Though small in size maybe only two feet tall, it was a vicious monster. It bared it's fangs at it's aggressor, and taking hold of all the negative emotions Kyoko radiated, it unleashed its fury. The beast murdered Kyoko's father. Both in front of Kyoko, and his mother. Of course, these had not been the young child's intentions in the slightest, and as such, something snapped inside him.
Mr. Mi's death was settled as a vicious and brutal murder; Kyoko's mother had convinced the police that something had broken in with a dog, in an attempt to steal some money. Her love for her child was unwavering, but after seeing first-hand what happened, left her with questions to ask; she very carefully sought help.
Kyoko's first year in Aurora seemed to be the answer. Being in a place that specialized in gifted children would be good for him. He would make friends, and live a normal life, and hopefully never again hurt anyone. Enrolled as Kyoko Mi, daughter of the widows Mrs. Mi, it was arranged best to keep a secret of Kyoko's true identity, to keep those from prying in his past too much. From that moment on, in the eyes of everyone else, Kyosake no longer existed, and the real Kyoko was born.
Her first year in school was overall a pleasant one. Kyoko had stayed out of trouble, and worked on her power, even developing a second one, the power to heal. She made it her goal to master her gifts, and when the year was over, she was in control. She'd even made friends with her familiars, learning that they were not the horrible monsters that her mom thought they were.
Now, going into her second year, Kyoko feels like a new person, coming more out of her shell than before. Socializing with others, and making real friendships and connections. How will all these things play out for her? Will they be for the better, or for the worse?
