All The Things You Need To Know 02/2017
At the beginning of each year, students are given a uniform and a new student ID.
Each student ID has a variety of uses so don't lose it. Student ID's open dorm rooms and lockers, as well as pay for laundry, student lunches, and items from student stores.
Student uniforms are different for each Year, to make student's easily identifiable. {{For now, 1st and 2nd years share the black uniform, 3rd and 4th years share the white uniform.}}
UNIFORMS
Uniforms are to be worn on School Days. But students are free to change out of them and wear their regular clothing during after school hours, and on Off Days.
For most students, School Days are between the hours of 9am until 4pm, Tuesday through Thursday, and 10am until 4pm on Mondays and Fridays. This schedule may be different for Year Four and Advanced Placement Students.
Student Clubs and Extracurricular Activities take place after school hours, and generally take place between 4pm and 6pm on Club Days. Each Club has their own designated days, so students may be in more than one, should their schedules allow.
Students all share meal and break times throughout the school day. There are two break times, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, and a one hour lunch in the middle of the day.
Students are responsible for their own mealtimes outside of School Hours. All students have some sort of refrigerator in their room, as well as a small kitchenette for their use, otherwise they may use the Cafeteria. Cafeteria meals are purchased using the Student ID card. Regular mealtimes in the Cafeteria are as follows: 6am-8am Breakfast, 11am-1pm Lunch, 5pm-7pm Dinner, 9pm-11pm Late Night. On another note, the coffee shop is open til 1am on regular nights, and 3am during exam weeks.
Each student is given a dorm room, in their respective gender wing of the dorm building. Each floor has a different style of dorm room, based on certain qualifications. The more modest dorm rooms are at the bottom for students paying their own tuition, or are in on scholarship. The dorm rooms on the top floors are rather luxurious and are for the more affluent students.
Top floor dorm rooms have laundry in their rooms. For everyone else, there is a public laundry, per floor, per wing of the dormitories. Regardless of where you do your laundry, you must swipe your student ID to activate them. The Laundry room is available 24/7 for all students.
It should be fairly common knowledge that weapons are prohibited from use on school grounds, and are strictly forbidden in the school itself. Students are allowed to carry weapons for self-defense in the dorms and around the rest of the grounds with special permission. Should students attack one another with these weapons, they will be suspended, or expelled and forced to go through legal proceedings.
